Newport County have today parted company with manager James Rowberry and assistant Carl Serant.

A month to late in my view.

Thankfully gone and the assistant.
A nice chap but that doesn't make him a good manager.
One win, one draw and ten defeats at Rodney Parade from the last twelve L2 matches there

McShittery has now come out in the press and basically stated that the squad he assembled is too shit to play expansive football, dear lord get him out of my club

When Newport beat us two weeks ago, I thought their players put in a very good second half shift to grind the win out, bodies were being put on the line at the back and they defended well.

But if your home record is as bad as that, then there is only one real outcome tbh. If that was the away record, but with a solid home record he'd probably still be in a job. Home fans generally get managers the boot when performances and results at home go to shit.

That's been the problem - Rowberry seems to be a nice guy but completely unable to get consecutive good performances out of individuals or the team. Even this early in the season I'm worried. Very few of our players look L2 standard.

We are getting tonked 0-4 after 35 mins I just can’t see him surviving now
It his job actually in any danger though? I get that the fans don't like him and his style of football and you have had some iffy results hence me commenting now is a good time to play you but are the owners likely to feel the same way with you 8th in the table?

At the moment he’s safe but he takes no responsibility for how we set up, style of play, tactics. Just goes to talk in the press about how poor the players are. He’ll be in charge on Saturday so yes a good time to play us, if he does his usual 1 up top you’ll have won by halftime, if he goes 2 up top we’ll give you a game

Strong rumours on twitter that McSheffrey will be sacked with Paul Hartley coming in as his replacement.

Don't think the Donny board would be that stupid, but it would be hilariously funny.
That would be Ace.
Then on saturday as the players make there way pitch side, Armstrong slips
On a disgarded Hot dog. (injured)
We go on to play Arragit off the park, Emulating Liverpool,s win V Rangers.
Proving once and for all, The English game is years ahead of Hartley and
Gordon ( i was at Sheff Utd, you know ) Young.

Seems Karl Robinson is now 1-3 at the bookies to be next Crawley manager.

Someone must have put a fiver on.

Seems to be a lot of criticism for Johnnie Jackson at AFC Wimbledon.

Probably not helped by losing a Derby game at home yesterday .

Sounded like a right numpty in the studio on the highlights show.

Trying times for them I guess, their first ever relegation as AFC and I've seen criticism directed at their board which from the outside a least for almost their entire existence seemed to be immune from any criticism.

Yes I am surprised the club let him go on that but guess it was pre arranged.

Mcshittery and Eyre’s sacked, no choice really, absolutely no idea who we will get to replace but I’m sure a suitable list of shite options will be posted shortly

Do you think the squad is good enough to challenge for promotion?

Honestly I’ve absolutely no idea as we’ve never really set up with any shape or way of playing. If everyone was fit it’s certainly good enough for the playoffs

Based on Doncasters first half performance against us 2 weeks ago, I could sense this was probably going to come. We didn't make the most of it though.

Second half I saw some fight in them, but that first half was the worst 45mins I'd seen from a side put in at this level this season. Even the bottom teams we've played Rochdale, Hartlepool and Crawley weren't as bad as Doncaster were in that first half.
