Honestly I’ve absolutely no idea as we’ve never really set up with any shape or way of playing. If everyone was fit it’s certainly good enough for the playoffs

That’s what I took from our game, you just had 11 bodies in replica kit without much of a structure or game plan to what they were doing.

Paul Hartley was just a daft wind up attempt wasn’t it, there’s no truth to it surely?

Highly unlikely but who knows, Danny Schofield has been spotted at the last few games and Copps has a link with Huddersfield but he’d hardly be an inspiring appointment

Seems to be a lot of criticism for Johnnie Jackson at AFC Wimbledon.

Probably not helped by losing a Derby game at home yesterday .
Came across as pretty clueless and full of excuses on the EFL highlights show, must be next up for the chop. We play them 3rd December, maybe a little too far away to take our 4th (!!) scalp of the season.

Mcshittery and Eyre’s sacked, no choice really, absolutely no idea who we will get to replace but I’m sure a suitable list of shite options will be posted shortly
Interesting comments from the board as it mirrors what I think a lot of people have wondered, that Doncaster's results have been OK even though those of us who have seen them can see what the fans are frustrated about. Thought it would take a coupe more defeats for most L2 boards to act but the Donny board's views seem to mirror those of the fans.

Mid table in L2 and they sack their manager, they really do copy us, don’t they.

If they want to take our place in the NL next season (we’ll be in NLN) that will be hilarious.

I know a certain north west based, bald headed chap is your man..

Sounded like a right numpty in the studio on the highlights show.

Trying times for them I guess, their first ever relegation as AFC and I've seen criticism directed at their board which from the outside a least for almost their entire existence seemed to be immune from any criticism.
Not just criticism but verbal abuse and threats of violence to former and current trust board members. I don't think we're well run at the moment - hopefully Danny Macklin can steer us in the right direction - but abuse isn't the right way to go. Latest club statement today https://www.afcwimbledon.co.uk/news/2022/october/club-statement/ I'm a volunteer but I only sell programmes and don't ever suffer abuse. The culture of AFC Wimbledon has changed and not for the better.

Macklin is a marmite character I found.

He's a salesman who will do anything to make a quick buck, very charming face to face in front of punters.

However I found him to be extremely hard working, he would always reply to emails, very active on twitter and deals with any complaints and always show his face to take any complaints face to face. He worked tirelessly to engage with fans.

One thing he will likely do though is implement his mates shocking ticketing system. The one he implemented with us and Essex cricket club was truly one of the worst ticketing systems ever, it charged people twice, crashed and broke alot of the time. He'd always give it the spiel of "Its a world class tickting system and it will get better" - within weeks of him leaving, with our new CEO in place, the thing was binned off.

He had to leave us when he did, he did work tirelessly - but fans grew tired of some of the things he used to implement.

Our ticketing system now works although it was a nightmare when it was introduced and it took 3 or 4 months to get right. There's no reason to change it.

Seriously tempted to ask for a refund for our rearranged match at home to you as I can only see an absolute tonking. I've had to book holiday from work as I work weeknights.

Meadow Macklin is a talentless, bullying chancer who searches his own name on Twitter and then slides into the DMs of anyone offering even the most minor of criticism. It’s a wonder that someone with such thin skin has made it this far in his career. He’d sell his own granny if it meant he could make a few quid and then boast about it. Absolute tosser.

Mark Cooper is being linked to the Newport Job.... all i can say is you should have kept the other guy - in fact you should go for anyone else - even ex-Pools boss Hartley would be a better choice.

Cooper is better than many make out, not saying I would be happy for him to be the gaffer at Field Mill like.

Have to agree with you bud! and thankfully as a fan owned club we would'nt let that gobshite anywhere near dave, personally i am still hopeing for Artell but it looks like he has his eyes set firmly on the Exeter job other than that i can see it being Tisdale or Lee Bradbury the currant manager at Eastleigh.

Many at Crawley were saying we should go for Bradbury as he was Yems assistant before taking the Eastleigh job.

Tisdale's name gets mentioned around here.

Artell will probably going all out for the Donny job

I'd forgotten Cooper was available.

No whispers at all on our end just the obligatory 'lots of excellent candidates '

And now the local paper is reporting that it will be Graham Coughlan, FFS i know its not the greatest job in football but surely we can attract better than that, if not we are up shit creek without a paddle.

Glad to see Coughlan get another chance, very honest decent bloke but was admittedly absolutely atrocious here. My gut is he will do ok at Newport.
