No manager in our 150 year history managed the club outside of the top two leagues longer than he did.
We bought promotion from league two nothing more.
We Reached the final of the Papa Johns because he was the only manager to play his strongest team even in the group stages.
We lay second this time last year and had games in hand.
He then spent over 4m that is correct 4m on players bringing in 750k. Heavy defeats and the way we play i would suggest his record was not that good.

Evatt failed for me, he got them out of league two be even then made hard work of that in a poorish division that year, consider Cheltenham and Cambridge had a fraction of the budget he'd have had.

They've really stagnated as a lower league club under him and needed the change.
