Expecting an announcement tomorrow that our new owner is Jed McCrory and our new manager is Darren Sarll.

Oh shit.
No no no. The man's poison and doesn't have a pot to piss in.

Barricade Huish Park and don't let him in.

Fuck me. Jed hasn’t got a pot to piss in, which will become apparent quite quickly. Lee Power is no angel but I’m glad he - eventually - managed to get rid of Jed and his bunch of misfits from our club. Amongst his great ideas he sold off the catering rights for 10 years for some pathetic amount, prepare for a welter of fancy car leases and anything not nailed down disappearing. He’s a chancer.

Go onto our forum and search for Jed and prepare to squirm

Rumours going around on one of our FB Groups that Matt Taylor has left with immediate effect. The posts have since been deleted so it’s probably just a shit wind up.

If this were true though it would be a fucking nightmare.

Ross Embleton confirmed as Interim Head Coach with Danny Webb and Jobi McAnuff supporting him:

Happy enough with this, I mean literally what do you do in this type of situation?

They'll be given a run of games and will probably revert back to their old jobs should we not start too well.

I'd take 18th place now, next season will be a struggle for us. I just hope our fans give Ross, Danny and Jobi some patience.

Wellens early favourite for the Doncaster job.

Would be disastrous. Fans are really behind him. Genuine feel good factor and excitement about the new season could be shattered if it were to happen.

Thomas Henry Shutes is (maybe) the guy who the rumours are naming. Grimsby chap who has made a few bob somewhere else and wants to 'give back something'.

No, thats not happening, although they don't seem any further with their takeover.

No hardy is busy trying to sell notts to a convicted fraudster under a new name.

We haven’t appointed a managers who’s in work for over 10 years so was never going to happen.

He wouldn’t have been a hugely popular choice here anyway considering how he left...

Sol has left us, mutual consent.

Rumoured to be linked to not paying his wages. Comes day after club(owner) statement once again blaming players for trying to get the money we owed them.

Was told last night this was happening but my mate never backed it up with a source so didnt post anywhere. Not been paid since last season.

In all honesty he's taken far too much credit for the survival last season. It was only when he stopped being stubborn and played our best players at the end of last season who subsequently got us a few results, coupled with Yeovil and Notts somehow being worse than us.

Don't blame him for getting out, and maybe he could have become a decent gaffer but i'm not too bothered he's gone. Mostly bothered about the reasons why.

Our club is an absolute state, if we were slightly bigger we'd need our own thread like Bury.

I hope drawing Grimsby away wasn't the tipping point !!

In all seriousness he has been a figure of fun by most clubs outside of Macc
What he actually achieved by staying up was nothing to be scoffed at.
He did a very good job under hard circumstances.
Only thing peculiar is the timing ? Macc sadly been struggling for ages financially so 13 days into the new season seems a strange way to part company.
Hope you quickly appoint a successor and it has to be Whittaker surely
