It's not an over valuation, it's the release clause within his contract, one Bruce agreed to and signed.

He can be put on Gardening leave, Bruce has broken his contract, Ashley is a reprehensible c***.

So what can happen from now then? The reports are suggesting he's resigned, can't Chansiri reject his resignation?

The only thing Steve Bruce is thinking of is leading the club he loves to success. I’m sure if it was another club of similar stature in a similar situation he wouldn’t be bothered.

Also if I was a Wednesday fan I wouldn’t care one little bit. Apart from the annoyance of it happening so close to the new season. The fact he delayed taking over the club to watch the fucking cricket would suggest to me he was never fully invested in the club in the first place.

If Bristol Rovers approached me tomorrow and offered me a contract in line with what football managers at L1 level earn then I’d ask where do I sign mate.

If I wanted to I could purposely balls things up there, get them cut adrift the face the sack and have a juicy payoff.

I'd rather manage any other FL club than Rovers as well but if I was given 3 grand a week to manage them I'd do it.

He may well do, but he'll also be aware the club's been up for sale for years. It might break luckily for him in that a takeover happens whilst he's there and if they're prepared to give him a chance it's a dream situation for him really. If it doesn't work out I'm sure he won't care, another big payoff and he can go back to watching cricket.
