Pressure starting to mount on Cook as we drop into the bottom three for the first time since promotion. Lose at home to Barnsley next week and I reckon he’ll be potted in favour of one of the experienced Championship managers currently out of work.

5 games in... He's got you promoted and kept you up with a shite squad, deserves more time.

I may be wrong but I don't question Bowyer's loyalty in the slightest. He's had a few opportunities to walk away from this nut house but has stayed, the only club in this division I would worry about is Leeds.

One of the best players to ever grace the Championship kept us up. One away win in over a year, Over 8 million spent on transfers this summer only to look shitter than last year. Our owners won’t be fucking around with him for much longer when far more experienced options are out of work.

If you are going to say Hughton he won't take it.

I know he wouldn’t. Rumour is the Royles have spoken to their mate Moyes (hopefully that’s utter bollocks).

Of the Championship managers out of work, I’d personally want Karanka who would probably need persuading but I see no reason why we couldn’t sell the job to him. Like I’ve said, the new owners haven’t come to dick about, they’ve invested on and off the pitch with a view to the Prem. This season was about pushing on after consolidation and Cook has taken us backwards.

Cowley brothers in advanced talks to take over at Wednesday according to sky. It will be interesting to see if they can make the step up, if it happens.

Bruce asked to talk to Newcastle, looks like it'll happen.

That's yet another club that are going to be starting the season rebuilding with a new manager. Best thing Wednesday can do is bring in a similar replacement like Monk, Cowley, Rowett etc... a change of approach now would set them back even further.
At least Chansiri agreed, went for both Cowley and then Monk.

Cowley turning down WBA, Huddersfield and Sheffield Wednesday in the space of a few months. What a man.

Also pretty much proves that not all guys are just in it for the money given Danny Cowley could probably get 10 times his salary at Hudders or Wednesday. The day is getting nearer to him and his brother leaving but they are already legends at Sincil Bank and that won’t change when they do leave.

You have to salute that level of smarts to not just jump at the first big club that calls and want in place the required set up or no thanks. Can understand the level of respect they get from Lincoln fans.

Still go and have talks with these big clubs though, don’t they?

I think it's a load of bollocks, but for the sake of discussion...

...bit strange that Hudds are after an expensive potential steady-eddy, who one day may be of the same ilk as a Kenny Jackett or Simon Grayson, when you could just as easily hire a jobless steady-eddy like Tony Pulis for basically nothing?

I'm basically ambivalent on Harris leaving, and as such don't really have any coherent thoughts about it. I suppose I would be interested to see what kind of football he gets them playing, if only to test my own theories about why we've played such a direct style under him.

I'm actually fairly happy with Monk, apart from Middlesbrough he's done pretty well everywhere, considering the options he's far better than Bullen or Pulis. Still only young and had some good experiences and bad experiences which will hopefully be good for us, think Chansiri's hand has been forced with this one, clearly was far from first choice or he'd have been appointed 6 weeks ago.

Called Rowett or Monk at Weds back in July, mad it's taken so long.
