Will he still be there for our fixture at the end of the month? Or will we get the chance to sack him ourselves.

Isn't it about time Watford fans started making noises about this ridiculous ownership regime?

Most of our fans think it's all a load of rubbish or just players who aren't going to be involved or want to leave kicking off if there is any truth in the story.

It is the Daily Mail after all and has no quotes in the article at all.

Maybe if the players themselves played better they wouldn't have to change managers - as with every club it seems players don't have to take any blame as the manager always carries the can.

We had Bassini and the Russos before the Pozzos came in so even though they are trigger happy (with good reason in a lot of cases..) the general feeling is we could be much worse off.

They have been very good off the pitch and until last season we were a Premier league club so no-one was that fussed.

The main anger is directed at the poor recruitment rather than changing the manager so often. tbh.

And we all know Pearson was sacked for more than just a few iffy results but nothing can be made public.

That race won by Lamouchi then! Been on a poor run since lockdown ended and they missed the playoffs in disastrous fashion. Only gave him a 4 year deal earlier in the year so would have been expensive for them probably. Been like a kid in a sweatshop over the summer signings wise as well so Hughton is waking into a fairly new squad of players presumably signed for another manager which seems a mess.

Strubel also gone at Barnsley to the MLS which could be a blow for them.

Sigh, a bad month and that happens.

And negative Hughton comes in. And you can see why he's been so successful at this level as his style of football is perfect for it.

Lamouchi will be glad to have escaped if owner working him that hard!

No surprise that Neil Harris has gone .

Since beating us think they have lost every game !

He was on the edge when we played them earlier in the season, we promptly lost 4-0 to save his bacon a little while longer!

Bit strange as they have just invested in Watters and Ng so thought they might be looking to stick it out with him a while longer, although I doubt either would suit how Harris wants to play.

Not surprised. We beat them back at the end of December and Harris was getting slagged off to high heaven on their forum, not in a "we should be beating teams like Wycombe" kind of way - more like "this manager isn't capable of motivating the team", or "I've never liked him" comments.

And yes, fans are as fickle as fuck (if mysteriously they'd gone on a glorious run at that point then all would have been fine) but once the fans start to turn against you then it's difficult to turn that back.

Sheridan’s managing it, unfortunately.

Very odd, just been sacked from his job in Cyprus that he only had for 8 games. They have also only just signed a few players that seemed to indicate a switch in playing style and then bring in McCarthy who seems to my mind to be more of the same.

Very strange and I think will go a similar way to the Pulis appointment at Wednesday. Don’t understand these big Championship clubs going for these dinosaurs, shows a lack of creative thinking imo.

Thierry Henry in talks with Bournemouth.

Be a bit left field - big name but hardly an impressive managerial record.

That's a disaster mismatch surely? Great player doesn't make a manager and he never seemed to me to be a leader, other than by performance.

Need them to make a decent appointment to give the Golden Shower a run for their money

No - he’d probably get them playing attacking football but get caught out tactically and he wouldn’t get much time to settle in and get used to things .

So Bournemouth have gone for Jonathan Woodgate as their new manager instead. That does not strike me as an appointment that will see them get promoted, especially given how badly he did at Middlesbrough (just 9 wins in 41 games).

Will be very happy if that sees them slip out of the play-off positions.

Pretty weird, he was really pretty bad at Middlesbrough. Not sure what he’s done to deserve getting another championship job let alone at one of the better teams in the division.

Obviously whoever they wanted turned them down at the last minute and they had no-one else to turn to.
