Alex Neil gone to Millwall.

He completely threw in the towel here, resulting a shocking football but he was great when he first arrived. I feel like he's lost his drive as a manager though and I'm not sure if he'll pull up any trees there.

They will soon let him know if that is the case !

Be more use as a striker coach somewhere rather than an out and out manager.

Are you on the #EdwardsOut side of things then Ken?
I was thinking about potential replacements earlier. Perhaps it could be a good opportunity on a shortish term basis for someone like Alan McCormack to get a proper first go at management. I felt when he handled the academy last season there was some real progression which has stifled a little bit since he left.

When handed a first team role, our set pieces were amongst our strengths - that was his responsibility.

Clearly a personality who can command respect from players and wouldn't shirk a hair dryer or two.

Robins has been pretty underwhelming in every job bar his second Coventry stint hasn't he? Where he was allowed to build a side from scratch after starting in L2.

I'm not convinced he'll turn Stoke into a team.

The Oxford board got some criticism for not giving Des a chance but they are the ones with the money and the decision is looking smarter each week as;
  • Other clubs sack their managers and Rowett isn’t available. His experience of clubs in our position is pretty good.
  • It has given time to plan for the transfer window
  • We are about to recruit Ole Romeny from the Dutch leagues for a fee over 1mil
  • Oh and 9 points from 9 helps too.
He hasn’t changed a lot in the way we play but has named unchanged starting elevens which allows the likes of placheta to build up a head of steam and confidence.

It'll be 12pts from 12, Rowett has a curse over us, it's impossible for us to beat him.
