Mad, if they brought Pulis in the next week I wouldn't have any doubts about them staying up.

I still think he’ll turn it around if they keep him on, whenever I’ve seen them they don’t actually look that bad and just seem to be making some horrific individual errors. Probably won’t get the chance though.

Adam Barrett caretaker FFS please lose against Leeds this weekend!

Would not be surprised if Harris turns up at our place now he lives a 10 min drive away. That's if he wants to work still..

I honestly haven't the faintest idea. Who are the favourites?

I'm not sad he's gone, football has been dire for a loooong time now. Surprised he quit though.

Doesn’t seem to be a market for it yet.

Can’t think of anyone out there off the top of my head who would be a good fit.

Not beating us obviously the final straw, not sure how to take that!

Noticed that the Milwall fans were not happy at all especially in the first half. Thought it was a bit harsh at the time but could say why playing that style and just surviving year after year might become a bit of a drag.

They were massively there for the taking last night. They were extremely ordinary.

Can’t imagine anyone between Hughton or Jackett is realistic.

A Mick McCarthy return could be interesting.

I think he left at the right time but I’m still very sad. He’s my all-time favourite Millwall player, a bloke who has done more for this club than perhaps any other living player. The cup runs, beating English champions Leicester with ten men, knocking out close to ten Premier League teams in cup comps, that fantastic season a couple of years ago where we were favourites to go down but played with an intensity and fearlessness to finish just outside the play-offs. It went steadily downhill from there but for how fucking shit and dull the quality of football has been for the past 18 months, he got us promoted and kept us up. He leaves with his legend status intact as far as I’m concerned, and all credit to the bloke for quitting before he spoiled his reputation.

New manager: bit of a left field choice, but I think we should go in for Grayson. Doubt he’d be willing to move to London though.

I reckon Grayson would be a decent choice and would really fuck the Lasher's off which is a bonus.

Grayson won't be pushing anyone towards the play-offs at this level.

Barrett - just the incumbent caretaker so naturally short odds
Hughton - would take all day long
Rowett - again, would take
Keane - No, too divisive
Pulis - Might actually be the most sensible choice, would match our current style
Jackett - wouldn't come back
McCarthy - doubt he'd leave Ireland
Adkins - Complete c*nt
Parkinson - Hate his football, his attitude and his whinging face
Cahill - would be an interesting choice, could be a complete disaster

Think Harris took them as far as he could, got them out of League One and kept them up for 2 seasons in the Championship, even pushed the play offs season before last. Very limited football but that probably reflects the budget as well, Rowett or Pulis would be good picks for Millwall.

Pretty much spot on tbh, albeit the budget is (i gather) somewhat higher this year than previously.

I understand #readingfc boss Jose Gomes is on the verge of being dismissed. Owners have called him to the stadium to discuss his future. Nothing done yet.

With the money Gomes has had at Reading it's not much of a surprise, Stendel has probably had enough, his stock is decent enough to get a better job than managing a team of kids with no backing from the board.

Wouldn't be surrpised, he just about kept us up last season and things haven't improved since.

Chris Hughton and Gareth Ainsworth are the early favourites.

Ainsworth is a Wokingham local so he could walk to the training ground every morning

Hughton has turned down bigger and better than Reading already.
