Are they suffering injuries currently?
I think their ground is just crap.

Gateshead had a problem a few years ago and spent money to sort it out. Surely a requirement for the league is to have adequate drainage? There is always the chance that excessive adverse weather will stop a game but every season Braintree don't seem to play at home between November and Fenruary.

Halifax have also got their pitch sorted now, the year we both came up I think they still had about four games in hand by the time we were crowned champions in April. They were playing every Saturday, Tuesday and Thursday for that month if I recall correctly.

Braintree's pitch is bad enough in August never mind the week before Christmas.

4? Closer to 10 I think. We still had 12 games left when we went into April. The 24 points we dropped in that run almost cost us a play off place. Chester were worthy champions in the end but the pitch killed any chance we had of making a challenge for the title that year.

Yeah, I meant when we were confirmed champions. I know at one point you had a ridiculous amount of games in hand and just ended up essentially playing games every few days and probably didn't even train for a month.

To be fair you also said that in the 46th minute at Dover and we all know what happened after that...

To be honest, I didn't aticipate Dover not coming out the dressing room until the 48th minute. But when they did, normal service was resumed. We couldn't score and they couldn't stop.

Tomorrow will decide whether this is a temporarily blip on the way to an outside play-off tilt, or the start of the long dip down the table.

Looking at Barrow's away record, we should win. But we're Lincoln after all.
It's one game Crazy, it won't decide anything.

Would expect a draw from this one - haven't won two games back to back in the league all season, and yeah, away record is poor. Lincoln were pretty poor at Barrow, but seems like they've picked up some form since. We've got a few midfield injuries, so Fofana could play.

We've not lost back to back league games this season so a draw it is! We've had too many draws at home (5 out of 11) this season but only lost once. Won more on the road.

Big game at Blundell Park. Going out the cup to Shrewsbury was disappointing, but even taking into account dominating the two ties you can't complain too much if you fail to score over 180 minutes. Hopefully, we can restore a bit of sharpness in front of goal and continue our decent league form. Won't be easy against Dover, though. It's all looking very tight with us, them, Eastleigh, Wrexham and Braintree at the moment, but Dover are the ones who have played more games than the rest so they'll desperate not to lose this one. Will snap anyone's hand off for another 1-0 win here, if it's being offered.

Don't speak too soon. Whilst it is a lot better than it was we still lost last weeks game and today will be very much in doubt should we get the rain that is forecasted.

I wonder if Woking's supporters mo-ped has left yet..

[CHRISTMASSHOPPING]A few going up on the train. Two visits to Gateshead is enough for me.[/CHRISTMASSHOPPING]

I'm not sure why you're obsessed with our away support though.

You know it's shit when a fucking FGR fan is taking the piss

Had to work today so couldn't make it, I would have gone though as it's only 3 hours from Kings Cross.

As I say, they're a definite contender for the worst set of fans award come April. I'm struggling to pick a redeeming feature.

Sounds like we're going to be in for a tough evening. Chalfont St Peter's top goalscorer already giving us problems, which is to be expected as he's on 20 goals already! Anthony Mendy if any of you want to do us a favour by putting in a 7 day approach and signing him at a higher level... (presuming he's non-contract as almost all players are at this level).

21 for Anthony Mendy now. 1-0 to Chalfont. Please someone sign him! Their next highest scorer has 4 goals I believe.

Our official twitter feed said this about the goal "1-0 Chalfont Outrageous goal by the Chalfont striker. Superb volley from a tight angle on the left on the box".
