The arsehole element of the Cheltenham support coming out the woodwork. At least Barnet were humble and Luton had something to shout about.

It's Cheltenham ffs.
Is he/it a Cheltenham fan ??? I often think it's some saddo's from other clubs. Certainly Glos city fans have found it funny to spout cack on our own forum as well as other clubs.

I can't wait until we beat you at Wembley.
To get to Wembley FGR will have to show a lot more attacking intent than last years Semi's, 180 minutes of laying on their backs and having their bellies tickled by Bristol Rovers, shit scared to even venture into the oposition half for fear of taking a hammering from them so just meekly allowing Rovers an easy passage to the final.
Money well spent Mr Vince..........

Why was it expected. We won 3-1 there last year.
Not sure what that has to do with anything, it was last season.

They're a top half side on the edge of the play-offs despite playing up to five games less than some teams. If not expected then certainly not a surprise.

Deva Chat, where they're outraged by seeing one of our players take a phone call in the gym in their own time. Do me a favour.

Burr should be judged more on the next few games rather than this one, Alty, Kiddy & Torquay are games I’d be disappointed to lose where as this was expected really. Today flowed a bit like last week, they were better than us in the first half and we were better than them in the second half.

We conceded two really soft typical Chester goals from corners. The first was an absolute balls up from Hunt, who gave the ball away and then a corner to make up for it. It baffles me why he’s immune from criticism, probably because he just works hard, but he’s been garbage since November.

There were positives, Astles was probably our best performer again and Sam Hughes was excellent when he came on. To be honest I’ve not seen a teenager like him come on and boss it like he did in the second half before. He looked noticeably fitter as well, no doubts at all now in my opinion that he should be starting every week. Alabi also looked to show a bit but lacked a bit of match fitness and sharpness, made some nice runs and looks as if he will hold the ball up well as he’s massive.

They are doing my head in on there. It is like Groundhog Day.

Hmm nah banter is usually 1 or 2 lines. Not a full bitter report
Bitter? We got to the final and you didn't, what is there to be bitter about, you didn't beat us.

Watching the highlights show on BT Sport and Eastleigh's pitch looks dreadful!

LOL...Remember you crying girls in 2006 when we took over Cardiff that day.
To be fair, we were shocking that day. If you don't win the title this season and finish above us but then lose to us in the playoffs though, I won't have any qualms about you being a better side than us over the 46 games as we were much better than you lot in 2005/06.

We werr very good against Eastleigh last season. Robbed against Gateshead and Bristol Rovers too. I'll give you Newport though, utterly woeful.

You're also only top because you got to play a league match in midweek when Cheltenham didn't.

Curzon 0-2 Alfreton (Jones 3, Jackson 48)

The perfect away day really. Got to Manchester in good time. No petrol stations visited unfortunately! Had a lovely tram journey before a 2 hour walk round the fantastic National Football Museum. What a great place that is BTW. Id highly recommend that to everyone. Well worth a visit. Free to get but can voluntarily donate £3 if you like. Which the four of us did without questions as it is well worth that! Then took the tram back to the car for the short half a mile drive to the Tameside Stadium.

I cant remember a more comfortable away day either. The locals where extremely friendly and welcoming and once Sam Jones powered us in from with a excellent solo run and finish after three minutes the win never looked in doubt. Curzon never threatened all night and despite having a perfectly good goal ruled out for offside MOTM Jamie Jackson finally doubled the lead 3 minutes in to the second half after latching on to Dan Bradleys through ball and rounding the keeper and firing in to the empty net!

Even more dissapointed that we didnt progress past bloody Nuneaton now in the Trophy as I would have loved a second visit to Curzon. Really nice club.

Thats 9 unbeaten now and 17/21 points taken in the league. Had we won on Saturday against Nuneaton (which we should have done had it not been for the ref) I would have fancied us for a strong play-off surge. However I think we may have left ourseleves a little too much to do!

With a little bit of luck there is no reason whatsoever why we couldnt have won all 9 of our recent games. So if we can that sort of form going you never know. Its been an incredible turn around though. From looking down and out and lost after the home defeat to Bradford PA on the 19th of December we having been nothing short of superb.
