Guiseley at home were probably the biggest cheats I have seen this season. I don't know if it was a one off that day but their antics when they went 1-0 up were disgusting.

They have form when it comes to cheating.

What, the fact we kept ten men behind the ball, defended for our lives for the rest of the game and didn't roll over and gift you a victory? Perhaps it was Tom Craddock requiring two lots of treatment in quick succession after a collision with your keeper? Time wasting, you thought? Actually yesterday was his first appearance since Blundell Park as he had suffered a fracture in that game.
Hope that helps :)

Trying to intimidate the referee, diving, rolling around the floor like they had been shot after soft challenges , pulling shirts when the referee wasn't aware. You had a game plan and a lot of teams have come here and done it without the blatant cheating. To be fair the players may have changed there ways as they were not as dirty on Tuesday night.

I think this thread is a microcosm of why I probably won't be returning to this forum next season, in all honesty.

The Minsterman will be back down here though so that's something to look forward to.

Incorrect, they are not the 3 most bankrolled clubs in this league.
Firstly, speaking for Eastleigh, we do not get our money from taking out large bank loans or having huge arranged overdrafts. So we cannot be bankrolled.
Secondly, there are 5 other clubs with bigger budgets than us.
But who gives a fuck, there are about 17 Premier League clubs with bigger budgets than Leicester City. At least 6 with more money than Spurs and maybe about 13 with more money than West Ham. I see no one bleating like babies about that. Opposition managers who know they are failing their clubs and their own budgets, always start to tee up the "money bags clubs" excuses before the game, then when they lose the game, its the very first thing they will come out with. They need to look at their own failings, when they are beaten, not just roll out incorrect facts to deflect the reasons for their losses away from their own shortcomings.
Tranmere are one of the worst at this. Do you really think we have a bigger budget to Tranmere?
Pathetic!
I think when people talk about 'bankrolled' they are not talking literally about clubs borrowing money from a bank, more how much money their Chairman is putting in!
And without knowing the ins and outs of different teams budgets in this league, it would surprise me if Eastleigh only have the 6th biggest budget with some of the players you have there.
And i have nothing against your club and am not looking for an argument on it, i just can't see which 5 other clubs would have higher budgets than yourselves?
Finally i agree with what you say that it is all pretty irellevant anyway who has the biggest budget, as we all just have to get on with it come what may.

Firstly,as others have said, I have no issue with the FGR fans who attended yesterday, a few more than anticipated and a credit to their club.

I didn't see the Eastleigh game, only highlights, but did see our home game with Dover. While they were guilty of time-wasting and feigning injury and their winning goal was a clear handball, don't recall thuggery on the level seen yesterday.

Finally, the way FGR set about this game has deflected attention from Rovers and Brabin's own failings.Only two shots on target, no forward and two central defenders on the bench in a game we needed to win. Even if Forest Green had been reduced to 8 men I'd be doubtful that we could have finished them off and a draw was a fair result.

I think, in the cold light of day, this post sums it up. I've got no issues with the FGR fans, I thank them for coming to the game and hope they had an enjoyable experience at Prenton Park. I've got no issues with any fans of any clubs - fans don't play football matches, players do and without opposition clubs, we'd have nobody to play.

The issue for me personally has been two fold - seeing the more successful sides this season turn up and play the way they have AND seeing us undone by it every single time. So far, the only sides in the top 5 who have turned up here and played football were Braintree and Cheltenham and both of those had elements of gamesmanship too. Not to FGR, Dover or Eastleigh levels, but it was there. My frustrations with this come from the fact that it is clearly working for them all and I hate the notion that that's how we'd have to play to get out of this league.

Anyway, sorry for any offence caused to anyone - I know it may be a bit boring reading through bickering and for my part in that I apologise.

We will lose margetts at the end of the season he will end up somewhere like alti or fax where he will score 30 next season and move on for a decent wedge. I dont know what brabins obsession with workrate is? I dont remember liniker or clive allen chasing defenders down..... Or muiry for that matter!

We had 2 goalscorers at the club mangen who was moved on cos he voiced his opinions and margetts who can finish but doesnt run round like a headless chicken....... Remember bromley home!

At the moment we have 2 strikers who work hard but cannot friggin score brabin hasnt a clue..... If i went for an operation and the nurse said to me weve let the accurate doctor go cos he only managed 2 opps a day however our new doctor is not very accurate but his work rate is fantastic..... I would run a mile!!!

None taken - I was more referring to the absolutely exhausting, tedious boorishness/arrogance/constant shit-posting of the moneyed tinpotter fans on here. (there are rare glimmers of hope in one or two, but that's it) I'm going to offer my share of the bullion now:

Their fans create as many illusions as they want, but Forest Green's disciplinary record hasn't just materialised out of thin air - "ooh, they're picking on us, other clubs are moaning because they're jealous" - no, you have that record because you take gamesmanship to the next level. It is not coincidence. And no, it's not jealousy either - I can guarantee the heavy majority of posters on here would take supporting their club with current circumstances (maybe bar Kiddy/Torquay, and even then...) than having a brief fling with a hippy empire built on quicksand with a negligible fanbase.

As for Eastleigh Fan - I think you need to look at a fuller definition of "being bankrolled". If you're telling me you'd be able to recruit Midson, Constable, Strevens et al without your owner's substantial financial input, and "enjoy" a failed play-off campaign - then well, best of luck to you in life.

I just find the lack of self-awareness astounding I guess, and their accompanying attitude towards others has made the forum not a great place to be at the moment I would have to say. Start showing some humility.

Fully open to any replies/criticism. (Constructive, not thuggery)

I think I'd be missed slightly more than yourself, it's not too unreasonable an assumption.

Oh no, really? In that case I'm going to throw a massive hissy fit, tell everyone loudly that I'm leaving, take ages to do it and then go and cry in my shed.

Erm, actually I wont because I don't take my self or this forum that seriously and have my head shoved so far up my own arse about myself or my amazing noble historic football club that I can't see the shit for trees. Get a life.

There was only one bad tackle in that game and it wasn't by a Guiseley player ;)

There a disgrace, the 3 games at ours with those c*** have all ended in brawls. :£
Don't worry you'll have another chance to avenge those results on 23 April when your team play FGR at TNL, but then again it could be the game when Halifax are (hopefully) officially relegated. That would be poetry after your constant and unpleasant abuse of a fellow Conference team. And did not your manager get banned from the dug-out, so seems as if all the disgrace is fully from the Halifax side.

Good to see a moderator (DSL) not being biased again, like taking sides in arguments. Poor.

Moderators are entitled to an opinion.

So you think it's right for someone in a position of (limited) power to show blatant bias towards not only certain individuals, but also certain clubs. Is this forum not meant to be welcoming to fans of all non league clubs? Why is it acceptable for clubs like us and Eastleigh to constantly get a bashing on what is supposedly "The Friendliest Forum" around? And when anyone gives anything back, they are in danger of a ban?

Your past conduct regarding FGR as a mod has even been mentioned as being poor on our official forum in the past. How is that an acceptable way to behave?

Not this again. I have not shown "blatant bias" to anyone or any club. I have tried to moderate as fairly as possible. This forum is or at least should be welcoming to all Non League Clubs.

FGR dont not recieve a "contsant bashing" as you put it. When you dish it out you have to expect to recieve it back?

Nice to hear I am well known on your forum. Not sure why to be honest.

I am closing this thread as its clearly going nowhere productive and I am about to head out.

If you any further issues please take them to PM. People dont want to join the forum and see constant bickering

I do have a chuckle at his budget talk.

We've got Eastleigh who don't reckon they're in the top 5. Fenty trying it on in that video the other week (also mentioning Dover?!), Vince last season was telling us FGR weren't that big a spenders and we've also had Cheltenham are trying to tell us they're not in the top 5 either...

not to mention the play acting and time wasting which seems to be the norm with some of the bank rolled clubs in this League (Yes I`m talking about you Eastleigh and Dover).

Just to clarify, we're not bank rolled, nice try though:10:

It's obvious which clubs have the most income at their disposal. All this talk of budgets is a bit of a ruse anyway as you can have a budget but you can always exceed that budget if your backer has deep pockets.

Yes, no coincidence he learned it all Stepford Whores FC, where he behaved like a complete twat like everybody else does there. Thanks for pointing it out. :£
