Braintree are playing the team 6th in the form table and we have the team in 4th, not easy games at all.
Point taken. But you're both at home, and both in brilliant form as well.. so I'll be pleasantly surprised if you failed to win.

Small dose of revenge after you did the same to us in the Fleetwood title winning season! In fact, a win tomorrow will go another small way to getting over that.

In all seriousness, be delighted with a draw. But get the feeling we need to win one these two games vs Grimsby and Cheltenham to keep up any play-off hopes.. Braintree and Dover just keep winning and have favourable games this weekend.
I remember that! Great goal from Thanoj scraped us a point.

In regards to Saturday, should you come to play football and not sit back, I think we'll win, barring another abject performance. Then again, you guys are in good form and I'm always wary, playing Wrexham.

On that theme .. who do people think is the best ref at this level? I thought the guy we had against Grimsby the other week (even though we lost) was superb .. Simon Bennett was his name. And the guy we had against Tranmere was the worst .. John Busby.

Alan Young missed a blatant pen for us v Bromley where even the other 3 officials gave it. And the week before had booked a Halifax (I think) player for diving in the area after he was clearly kicked in leg. He's probably one of the worst ref's at this level.

No Caton, Stanley or McCombe for us - three players that would probably start. Given that players are leaving on loan and last week's line-up against Kiddy didn't look quite right, there's been an air of 'the season's over, let's try things out' since the Dover game. I'd rather that wasn't the case tomorrow.

I'll be taking the opportunity tomorrow to cut the lawns as opposed to watching!

No reason, just the Club's preference. I'm surprised all Clubs don't change their Saturday games to Good Friday.

Wow, a decent FGR fan. THEY EXIST. *Hallelujah*

I'm absolutely not watching our game tomorrow, I will be busy playing poker instead.

Given that two Imps fans aren't even going to watch on telly, how many expected to travel to the game? Currently Braintree's 44 is the lowest away turnout at Prenton Park.

I'd agree with those nominations, though we haven't had Mr Bennett in months. Friday features the erratic Adrian Holmes, who's taken charge of more Rovers games than any other ref this season.

Tbf, I don't have BT Sport anyway.

It'll not be as low as 44, but our crunch week went about as bad as it could have done so I suspect people will have packed their money away for the season.

I understand the presumed reasons both clubs want to play on the Friday instead, but I can't understand the short notice when surely it could've been done weeks prior. Also I've seen no explanation for it at our end, what about yours?
I agree with the decision to move it to the Friday but we all seem equally surprised for it to have taken so long for this to be decided. Last season the date for our match at Halifax was changed as well but that happened in about August. I don't see why the two teams couldn't have agreed on something like that this season.

Interesting you mention this, as the same happened with our game at FGR, it was only moved to tomorrow 2 weeks ago. Fortunately I have tomorrow off anyway and the move didn't affect me, but I have sympathy with any supporter who can't go because of the change.

....Brett Huxtable is our ref for Saturday...Why is he allowed to ref still

http://www.harriers.co.uk/news/arti...to-woking-in-the-national-league-3024343.aspx
The man is a clown.

The worst refereeing display I've ever seen down here though was Richard Martin when we played Hyde in 2013. He gave Hyde a penalty when their player pulled Brett Ormerod over, sent Jay Harris off for being fouled and gave Hyde a second penalty in the last minute for no real reason whatsoever.

Can't blame them. I'm just hoping your team have packed up for the season too.

We're not playing the Barcelona-esque style Mills favoured earlier in the season - that only worked when the pitches were in good shape.

We're now paying what might be called a more "pragmatic" style. Not as pretty but much more effective.

With the form we're I think we'll draw or win. I'd be happy with a point then on to Cheltenham at home on Monday.

Unless you've got pacy forwards, we're usually difficult to break down, especially against hoofball. Ironic that our pitch is never in a bad state so Mills-ball would probably suit you best!

Best ref I've seen down here is Stephen Ross, can't remember who we had him against but he was superb.

Preparing myself for apoplectic scenes tomorrow when Kidderminster make it seven straight league defeats for us.

I don't think we'll get PULVERISED but it's going to be a struggle.

From our website preview of the match:

Both home and away sets of supporters are welcome to visit The Green Man, the club’s own on-site pub, which has a large bar and loads of space for visiting fans.

So, that would appear to be a yes, the club only make alternative arrangements when the away club is either local or expected to bring a massive following. Although I don't use the Green Man myself I understand that they have a decent range of local beers and you should be assured of a friendly welcome.

Got fuck all to do today so will be watching the live BT game, enabling me to make some sweeping assumptions regarding both sides based on 90 mins.

Expecting to lose but hoping for a much better showing than last week.
We have a terrible record over the bank holiday weekends so far, played 5 drawn 2 lost 3.
Would think around 200 Imps will make the trip, the loyal mad buggers!

We host Gloucester City tomorrow. Need a reaction from last week but this season is in serious danger of just finishing with a whimper. I can see another tight 1-0 dour defeat.

Kayden Jackson is very pacey.

Forgot Jeff Hughes has signed for Tranmere. How has he done? Not heard too much about him, so I'm assuming he's either been injured or just not pulling up any trees.

I was thinking that you'll beat us tomorrow, resilient at the back and Amond getting a winner, but if playing against pacey forwards is your weakness then maybe we've got a decent chance.
