Credit to Simon Bassey, same set of players yet we are a different team than under Flowers. Don't get me wrong hopefully 90% are chopped but at least we are giving teams a game now
Fair play to Barnet they were committed and gave it everything even with nothing to play for. We couldn't handle Adeloye and Mason-Clark at all but still think if we'd gone in 2-up at half time we'd have won it. Second half we didn't deal with the pressure very well and resorted to just lumping it into the box with a centre half up front.

Oh well play-offs it is, I'd have bitten your hand off for that at the start of the season.

Party time from us today, should’ve scored double figures. Albeit against a team with absolutely no interest in keeping it tight.

Think we ended with 13 shots on target or something, we were going months without that many overall earlier in the season.

Delighted we’ve sorted play-offs and don’t have to worry about the carnage below us next week. We’ll give anyone a game at the minute, home or away.

We really should have made sure of 5th place today, some ridiculously crap finishing. Not only to have guaranteed a home game but also get in the Torquay half of the draw, who I really fancy playing.

Still, far far better than a few weeks ago.

Notts playing some champagne football today, could have been seven.
Still need to beat Bromley for the guaranteed home leg with Eastleigh still going for it.
Looks like Sutton are there now, well done, small squad, limited budget and strong opposition from the brothers. It's a slog getting out of here.

Looks like Eastleighs last spot to lose with the game in hand and playing 2 teams on their holidays. Still it sounds like the lads left nothing out there today and should be proud. Will be a fierce, tight game at Halifax last day now

Very straightforward win versus Weymouth. Don’t really care who we get in the POs or if it’s home or away tbh, in some ways I think being away might suit us more. Just delighted to be in it and not be involved in an absolute nerve shredder next Saturday!

If it would stop you talking out of it for a while then I’m game.
Hmm yes, I'm sure you are, I hear your sort thrive in ports. Can't think how, but I can't help feeling I've led you on, get yourself down the docks lad. :fl: :fl: :fl:

If Sutton win tomorrow. The tv cameras are pretty much guaranteed to be at the Shay next weekend I'd say.
Sutton might be annoyed as it would be a title party for them. But it's really a potential shoot out at the Shay.

Chesterfield winning but hardly a surprise considering it's 12 vs 10 today.
Penalty absolutely stonewall btw, happened right in front of where I was. Arms up in the air whilst sliding in and blocked the shot with it

Fully deserved win, we were the better team from start to finish

Stockport County.
We're not clinical at all, same problem all season. Madden seemed to improve things, we missed him again today, hopefully we'll still see him again this season.

Back in Hartlepool's hands for third.

2-0 down. 3-2 up with 5 mins to play. Lost 4-3.
Yes, that was quite the rollercoaster, considering it was as dead a rubber as you could possibly find.

Was that not a strong Yeovil XI then? I was late into the ground, first thing I saw was the GBH on your player. I think that is the first time this season we have scored four.

Despite thinking early on IB was an absolute turnip he's turned it round. Glad to be in it. Fancy us against anyone at the moment.

No shock result at the Rec today, our home record this season is one of our worst ever. Could have gone either way, Shots surprisingly putting in a decent shift, but were outdone by a very professional performance from Bromley who went for it and got their reward. Joel Nouble again unplayable, surely destined for bigger things. Enjoyed the game, roll on August.

The pre-game buzz is FINALLY back after 14 long months...

Not a clue how we’re going to perform as the injuries have de-railed us massively but the fact fans are back in will hopefully get us over the line today! Going for a 2-1 CFC win, Rowe thunderbolt in the 88th minute to take the 3 points!! (Dreamland)
Decent effort sir, hope you put it on at the bookies.

We had a stonewall penalty probably more obvious than your one could have been 2-2, you weren’t the better team start to finish first 15 yeah but rest of first half we dominated the ball and had the chances. Second half we were poor admittedly but that was always going to be tough our only outlet in McCallum went of injured at half time and without Balanta and Vilhete our 3 best players, despite all that we almost snatched a point but the reffed messed that up, he struggled with the crowd. Embarrassing Chesterfield players surrounding the ref to get someone sent of proper desperation tactics from an average side.

Looking at the table Eastleigh might make it, shame.

Do you realise how many starting XI players we’ve got out injured and you’re talking about how you missed ‘1 or 2’ players? McCallum was absolutely useless in the first half anyway so don’t think you missed him when he went off

Also on the red card, It was the most obvious 2nd yellow I’ve ever seen, I don’t actually know why it took the ref so long to pull the second yellow out it was clear as day. But if we’re talking about ‘embarrassing’ scenes, let’s talk about your absolute joke of a centre half going down like he’d been shot in the aftermath of the penalty being awarded to try and get our player sent off... now that was what you call embarrassing

Solihull arent on their Holidays. They have won 5 league games in a row for the first time in 6 years.

When you've got a squad of 56 players how do you even work out who is first XI? other than the ones not on Furlough I guess.

McCallum did his Achilles early first half hence he was quiet, also were missing other players not just them three, none on furlough mind.

I didn’t say it wasn’t a sending off just the way all your players reacted to it, the ref wasn’t going to book him just have the free kick. Ref was poor for us clearly couldn’t handle the crowd and in the end won you the game.

Sure it wasn’t just because Gunning pocketed him that he was quiet? He didn’t seem to be moving awkwardly or anything to suggest he had an injury, maybe he just got dragged?

Your comment on our players surrounding the referee is hypocritical anyway as yours did it on at least 2 occasions, the first being the penalty appeal that was turned down, and the 2nd being after the peno was given against you and your lads were trying to get some of our players sent off for absolutely nothing

Our finishing was absolutely diabolical yeah. Still no idea how that Rodrigues shot that hit the post didn't go in either. He had a slight limp when he went off, hope he's alright. Although he spends much of the game looking like that anyway, unless he has the ball. At which point it is party time. Also enjoyed the 'hook Jake Reeves for Eli Sam with ten mins left' carnival substitution.

We'll probably get done by someone with nous and height in the play-offs, but we are extremely good to watch at the minute. Very excited for next season whichever division we're in.

Should be an interesting games. Both teams need the win I reckon. Doubt a point will be enough for you and a point certainly won’t be enough for us. It could end up being a really end to end open game

The most embarrassing thing was the physio of D&G actually coming onto the pitch to treat the no 20 who layed on the ground holding his face for a minute or two after a push to the chest,we can only pray the facial reconstruction surgery is successful

Hahah that was atrocious... thoughts and prayers are with the lad this evening that he doesn’t have any relapse from such a horrific ordeal...

No, that was all the players we could find who could get on the pitch. Half weren't fit and shouldn't have played but there was no other option, then Josh broke his ankle after 5 minutes...jesus.

We play some nice football and look like scoring in every game, but when you keep gifting the opposition 3 goals you'll lose most games.

Nouble was unplayable again but will sadly be off over the summer.

Chipmunx will probably fall off his chair, but we need to give Panayioutou a deal for next season. Think thats 12 goals for the season on top of the off the ball work he does for the team - not bad for someone that I wouldnt have considered keeping 12 months ago.
