Sad to see what has happened, seen it before though, my first football forum was one called leagueportal which was never huge but came in 2002 and had couple of hundred posters then suddenly admin decided to charge every a fee to post pretty much whole forum went to pot, still kept going but with about 20 posters who just stuck around for odd chat than anything else.

never know why these admins/mods get so upperty when the reaction isn't right, although this one was strange because they announced it was going, set a date and said fine to sorting new one out so strange someone has thrown toys out of pram, hopefully its just down a day or two and then gives a month to sort people to the replacement.

It was a very sudden, private decision akin to quietly cutting all of the lifeboats free and then sinking their own ship without warning, leaving everybody absolutely stranded. Poor decision, but we seem to be recovering very well due to fantastic efforts from a whole bunch the sorts of people who truly made TFF as great as it was.

There was a pretty big thread about it but the forum was seemingly closed forever a day after the thread went up and not the 2 and a half months after like was promised.

TFF was always only as good as its members. And I challenge you to find any individual who suggested otherwise.
