Unfortunately a road I know too well. Fastest route from SW London to the M4 avoiding the South Circular.

TBH, I hate driving nowadays. Needs must though, my elderly father lives in Weston-super-Mare and HWMBO doesn't drive.

The A329M is the best route, and the roads through Chobham etc are very pretty.

St Jude then Falcon to me - been a lot downhill from there. Went to see them in Liverpool late last year and it wasn't the same as it was when they were first on the scene. Having said that I still went out and got Heaton Park tickets.
