Well. Treated to a second half masterclass from PNE today, look every inch a Championship team. Away end looked good when they scored too.

As for us, first half was ok but we couldn't match them after the break. The dip in form of some players is alarming and rather than looking up, I'm now staring ominously at 7th place and those 12 points.

The target was always Play-offs and it's clear now we have been overachieving, if we drop out the top six though it will be time for some serious discussions I think.

Wine and Darts to help me forget tonight.

What a win.

First half was a complete non-event, we didn't turn up for 25 minutes but we upped the tempo in the second half and deservedly grabbed two goals. John Welsh was absolutely outstanding and they couldn't cope with Garner after half time, he was far too isolated first half.

MK were as expected, decent on the ball and some good pace but they were never breaking us down, amazed they didn't throw another striker on, that system was never going to work against us.

Have to say, as far as modern bowl stadiums go, Stadium MK isn't bad.

We didn't have another striker to bring on and to be fair, that same system got us a 1-1 draw at your place. You just played us at the right time with injuries, suspensions and form against us.

Just to add to the misery, apparently George Williams is out for the season so that's another one to add to the list.
