Well an extremely tricky came coming away unscathed really. Pretty sure everyone would of taken a point at the start.. Stonewall penalty for them, but a stonewalled not given for us about 90 seconds later... Whether the ref was making up for his cock up who knows. Sounded like both teams defended very well, but also sounded like plenty of chances that on another day could of gone in.

Won't have a game as tricky as that for the rest of the season now, just got to keep our composure and get the job done. :bye:

Happy with that. Much improved 2nd half and we probably had the better chances overall but the draw a fair result - and a much better one for us than MK :)

RB praised the refs consistancy today, sounded like he didn't want to get his cards out and tried to let the game flow

Happy with that, draw away is always a good result but more importantly not to drop points against a promotion rival is vital at this stage of the season.

Happy with that, a good result.

First half was dominated by MK, and they had the majority of the ball, and when we did have the ball, it would get given away, and come straight back at us. Referring back to the point someone else said - MK's work rate off the ball was fantastic, and we weren't given a second on the ball.

Second half we came out and we were much sharper, we were winning the second balls, using the wingbacks more, and really getting at MK. We had multiple chances, one for JET at the start of the half, and a few shots from outside the area from JET, and a lot of balls across the box that were inches away from getting tapped in.

Overall, I think the point favours us more than it does MK, and we can go into 3 home games without conceding a goal in 4 games.

Happy with the result, a good day out, and a fantastic prediction from Scumarmy ;)

2 solid structures played out the only fair result.

3CR a cracking listen, fans and Robbinson bleating about a pen they should have had and presenters talking about one we should have had. Either teams talking about pens is clutching at straws cos neither did enough to win.

Neither team deserved to win. We had more chances but City had the best. Would have been harsh either way. Will take the point and another clean sheet :)

Bad news for Bristol City fans Sir Colin Daniel limped off injured in the first half today so you may not get your chance to worship him on Tuesday night.

Games featured on the football league show tonight, so hopefully both pen shouts are shown.

Yep, we'll take that.

City have come up short away from home against the two best footballing sides in the league however I will stick by my pre season prediction that they will fill one of the automatic slots - a solid outfit for this level who will grind out results.

We got a bit lucky with the penalty decisions tbf, don't know about the handball but they had a blatant one turned down 1st half.

Badly.

They had a good first half, took the lead then bottled it and completely lost their heads and defensive coherency. Were it not for some awful finishing from us it could have easily ended 4-1 or 5-1. We had about three shots on an open goal with their 'keeper beat that didn't go in alongside countless others. I haven't been convinced by them at all since that game, still don't fear them in the slightest because of it.

Good result, would have taken that although it would've been nice to have a goal to celebrate.

Stewarding at MK is bloody awful mind, load of us ended up in the lower tier when we were supposed to be in the upper, because staff were directing people (including me) to the wrong gate, then when the ticket didn't read at the turnstile they were just letting us through anyway! This was the main reason why many fans ended up forming on the aisles, to which the stewards reacted badly and started threatening to eject people, when it was their own fault... Personally quite happy I ended up in the lower tier, atmosphere was good all round but sounded better down there.

I was at that game and that is the most biased assessment I have ever read of a game :fl: we should have been out of sight at half time and gifted you a goal to get back into it you then had lots of breakaway chances as we were trying to get an equalizer which we should have had if Williams had not taken the ball off of Stephens foot. Cant wait for Good Friday lets see how good you are then/.

I am still sticking with my prediction at the end of October City and Swindon top 2 I am not precious and don't care which way around.

Haven't seen the replay myself, but just seen a picture of the save by Bristol's defender in the area.

Could have been given but in real time it looked like it had just been hit hard at him so not an easy one for ref. If any doubt you can't give it. There were a few good shouts today but I think ref did OK.

Draw was the right and fair result. And a better point for us than them but they are still the best team I've seen this season. Think we will be in the top two together.

Have only just had an opportunity to get on here after today's game and haven't read any other comments yet - I thought it was a really competitive game and probably the most fair draw you'll ever see. Enjoyable day, just a shame we couldn't nick a win at the end! Robinson was pretty complimentary towards us on the radio afterwards too, and he repeated what I just said, basically. Two very, very good sides who pretty much cancelled eachother out.

A point clear with a game in hand, if we can make the next 3 home games count we could be in a very healthy position after them.

Robinson the bellend just sat there on national TV and made it sound like he can only offer an orange club bar and a cup of tea in his contracts. Total bullshit. The man is a pillock of the highest order. Poor Karl. I'd love Smith to have his budget at us, we'd go for the Champions league.
