Alright, alright, I withdraw my comment.;) It's not like I go to every away game like some do.
Spence won't be able to handle Smith, he's just too solid!
Thanks for putting me right about the tickets btw, old Arn has obviously 'embellished' the figures somewhat.

Depends if we want to compete with 2 clubs for 2 places or 1 club for one place.

They'll be plenty more twists and turns to come.

However it turns out for any of us, it's got to be better than supporting Aston Villa -Christ on a bike, they are fucking dire

They're playing in the Premier League though... Villa fans will more than likely never know what it's like to support a club in League 1.
Bristol City and Swindon have both gone through far worse periods in recent times than what Villa are currently going through

I'll be there...Expecting around 5k from us.

I think we will be 2nd behind MK Dons this season so would be no surprise to see us lose. They will dominate possession but we can hurt them at set pieces and on the break.

What I meant is that Villa never do anything - ever. They never even throw in the occasional exciting victory. They never challenge for anything - they just exist, albeit in the PL.

At least with our more frequent downs we have some very exciting ups now and again.

I have an insect day

What the hell is that?

As for this game, I see a 1-1 draw. A shame McFadzean is missing but Spence has been excellent this season, albeit at right back. He will partner Kay while Hodson will probably come in at RB so no real biggy.

Hopefully should have a few players back for this, with any luck Reeves and Grigg but if not, we have shown we can win without a number of players this season so I'd still back us for at least a draw.

As for us being shaky in defence...we have made a few mistakes just like everybody else but we have the 2nd best defence in the league having kept 16 clean sheets this season and being the top scorers in the whole FL along with Bournemouth usually makes up for any defensive lapses.

I'll be honest in that i didn't see spence much when he was on loan with us, but he looked decent when I did see him (then again each game I saw us play in the championship we won which was rare in itself!)

All 3,800 tickets sold :)

Hopefully more to follow then pay on the day? Definitely looking like in excess of 4,500. We cannot compete with the 9,000 Wolves took but that would be a fantastic following.

I'd say MKs defensive record is more to do with the opposition not actually having the ball than MK having particularly good defenders.

Spence was good for us during his first spell, went downhill after. A lot more confident knowing Smith will be battling against him . And hopefully the Ali situation may disrupt them.

Apparently MK won't have a large crowd because Bristol City aren't a big enough name. Cos that's why 5000 Bristolian's are going to Milton bloody Keynes...

Aside from it's inaccuracy at this level anyway.

I read that and wasn't sure if it was a wind up until we were called 'a shit Bristol r*vers', then I knew the poster was either on a wind up or brain dead!

It's a sad reflection on MK itself, but there'd be a bigger home attendance if you had some Premiership history. It's only those teams that draw out the local populace who aren't that fussed about the team. We had this scenario (2nd plays 1st) involving Leicester a few years ago. They bought similar numbers to yourselves but there was a bigger home attendance.

It's just the way it is in MK, it'll take another generation... Etc.

Still think there will be a crowd of 15,000 which isn't bad, i'm bringing 3 others with me that wouldn't normally come, Andrews signing might also bring a few more out for the day- then again it's really snowing here so who knows !!

Can still play Saturday Jack!
This confuses me- Liverpool can't buy Ings and loan him back to Burnley because of a premier league transfer rule, but Tottenham can loan Alli back to MK? I guess it's got to be a deal between 2 prem clubs then.

The bit that confuses me is why have different rules for the different leagues

Don't worry about not getting a ticket, this is the maximum allocation we can give you.

mk-dons6-nearly-9000-travelling-wolves-fans-290314-16x967-1454866_1600x900.jpg

(Wolves in MK)

And when you've used up your ~9,000 allocation, you can put another ~700 in with the home fans. They won't mind but they will phone in to BBC 3CR afterwards to moan about the swearing and shouting.

On a more serious note, this game really should be on the TV. One of the best of the season.

The atmosphere was shocking when we were in both tiers.
Much preferred the two years when we had 5000 and 7000 in the bottom tier.

4,000 sold so far at an average of say £15. £60,000

Wonder how many months of Keith Andrew we are paying for? Doesn't seem right that we are contributing all that to MK when their fans gave less than a tenth to our coffers!

That's cos you've only got around 1000 for away fans.

Don't forget to take something plastic, Saturday - just to fit in!

We never take massive amounts to MK normally about 1000 as there are lots of Town fans who will still not set foot into that ground, I have been a few times nothing will stop me from supporting my team just don't buy anything when I am their and normally piss all over the toilet floor.

Thank you so much for funding franchise football, we hope you enjoy your day (not to much though) ;)

In all seriousness you wont make a dent on what Wolves spent when attending our stadium the other year, i think it was in the region of £150,000+ with ticket sales, food & drink without home fans sales, hotel rooms etc.
