4-1 Vale now through Tolaj. Newport defender did handle it on the line trying to save it but couldn’t stop it going in.

That's not a sending off. Are these refs ok in this league . That's 2 in 2 games reds that shouldn't have been

Pulling McGoldrick out of cold storage is proving to be a hit.

Accrington are dire, in massive trouble. Just trying to boot us off the park despite the number of players missing.

Harry Smith has just tried to argue against his sending off having nearly taken the Barrow's player head off with an outrageous swinging elbow at a corner.

Newport now down to 9 men. Unravelling a bit for them.

I'm jumping between two games but I thought Banks was lucky with that 50/50 midway inside Grimsby's half because he's gone to leave one on him there.

Yeah tbf that could have gone that way, but Oldakers was still not a 2nd yellow. I think Grigg's penalty was probably a penalty too what with the 'I'm well injured pls don't give pen' routine by the keeper. We're not settled as a team at all yet this year it's clear to see and it's a bit frustrating. Nothing's quite working going forward. Our best midfielder by a mile is playing CB, so we've lost his control every game so far. If we can come out of this game with the win it would be big from here I think.

Very comfortable and professional win. Lovely stuff considering the players we had missing. Decent argument Accy were the worst team we’ve played since we came up, zero quality and niggly bastards as well.

That Abbott we’ve signed on loan from Spurs looks a proper player.

Very comprehensive win for Vale in the end. Best attacking performance of the season from us and that was when they had 11 men. Newport keeper did well to stop us adding at least a couple more.

Newport actually did pretty well after being reduced to 9 men. First one could be up for debate but the second red for booting the ball into the away fans was maybe a little silly.

HAHAHA it would be a former Carlisle player who equalises last minute against Barrow.

Played worse against 10 than we did v 11.
Like a basketball game at times as expected two very attack minded teams, good watch in the main though just a shame our awful defending cost us yet again.

We’ve done Accy a favour there not playing Jones, Crowley and Jatta - would have been a massacre, what a dreadful side - that centre back pairing is going to concede a million goals this season

Good sign to win so comfortably in any case with our star men missing. Thought Hinchy, Edwards and Abbott were great, Abbott in particular - Grant and Didzy very classy up top and Bedeau was the pick of the back 3.

Only negative from me is we’re still seemingly only one injury away from Scott and Austin playing meaningful minutes and there were both utterly hopeless

After 60 mins we lost all shape and pretty much kept giving the ball away, luckily Gillingham were as poor as us

Just what the doctor ordered, great win in a strange second half, raced into a 4-1 lead before Newport lost their heads, a knee to Garritys head when on the deck saw the first red, then a ridiculous loss of discipline for a second yellow for belting the ball at the Vale supporters during a break in play.

Oddly they could of had a couple of more reds with an poor tackle on Hall and the fourth goal luckily going in off the post for them after their defender used his hands to try and stop it going in.

One criticism is we didnt perform more ruthlessly against 9 all be it the keeper made two great stops but we had the chances to get a much bigger score line.

Huge result for us, lots of positives and a ground and side we never seem to do well against.

Stockley and Tolaj getting goals is a massive boost and against eleven we looked very good going forward, just the defensive worries but a big relief to get the W

I thought Grimsby could have poured it on a bit more following the red to be honest. They had some half chances but I think we had the better ones after going down a man, hitting the post twice. Grigg is starting to cut a bit of a frustrated figure up front. I will absolutely take that win and feel grateful for it because we're still not quite at it yet. As for Grimsby, I didn't think they were terrible, but I would be annoyed at that performance if I was them, and if that's kind of what it's like most weeks you worry what end of the table they might be at come the end

Now I've got that out of my system...

That was tough to watch. It was an absolute battle at times and very little easy on the eye quality. Morecambe came to do one thing - scrap, make the game as physical as possible, and stop any football being played. For the most part, it worked, as we went 1-0 up with a penalty for shirt pulling (from my angle it was a stone wall pen, on replay it looks like nothing - angle is everything) and then had to endure even more fighting and scrapping to hold on to it. We were the better side without question, but it was very tough not to get dragged down to Morecambe's level. Fortunately we just about avoided it.

It got a little bit backs against the wall in the last ten minutes, but every single player worked their arse off and threw everything at every shot and chance, and a worldie of a save from our keeper made sure of the win.

Our first home win since March-ish, our first home goal in 658 minutes. About bloody time.

Well not sure what to say but 5 1-0 defeats on the bounce must be a record ,we are creating chances but goalies are also pulling of worldie saves + when you on a bad run decisions don't go your way ,anyway we go again next week v Colchester

I fucking hate Harvey Rodgers and I fucking hate Paul Hurst for handing the useless prick a three year contract. Anyway if that's the favourites to win the league then we might actually be in for a decent season if our keeper and defenders could just stop dropping dropping clangers.

Thought it was a decent game tbh you could tell they were light of their 2 or 3 best players . But still a decent side - that want to play football at least , mixed it a bit more than i thought they would and it got a bit messy later on , we stood up to it well .

Dadi & Vernam will destroy some of the lesser teams in the league if we manage to keep them fit .

Vital that we cut out the individual errors at the back as we could be a really good side at this level if we do - slightly worried about the keeper i must admit he can't use his feet and that seems vital for Artell ball .

Thought the Chesterfield keeper showed how to deal with balls across the box well , couple of fizzers near the end that he held really well tbf .

Thought the ref gave us a lot today and it shouldn't have been a sending off but no doubt we will get a bad one against us soon so will take it .

We were awful again and Bradford weren't anything much but had a striker who was able put his chances away.

Wait until you see our goal which is a real clanger from the Bradford keeper.

Seriously, the standard of refereeing so far in our games has been nothing short of a disgrace. I’m telling you now, they are better in the NL and they were absolutely horrendous. This lot are DESPERATE to make every single game about them. Can’t wait for our 10th apology of the season when they tell us Oldaker shouldn’t have had a 2nd yellow

Harry Smith has just tried to argue against his sending off having nearly taken the Barrow's player head off with an outrageous swinging elbow at a corner.

He was sent off last season here for Sutton also for violent conduct.

Crackers game, went 1-0 up, Farman sent off for deliberate handball outside the box so defender Rory Feely goes in goal. Smith gets his marching orders for an awful elbow and Swindon finally decided to test an outfield player in goal with a long range strike and Feely lets it underneath him. I can't believe Swindon weren't peppering him all second half to be honest.

Hopefully Clemence learns his lesson about not having an goalkeeper on the bench. Although we won't next week either with Farman now suspended.

Barrow didn't have a sub keeper so Rory Feeley played in nets for about 70 mins (inc injury time)

What has happened to the standard of officiating in this league? It's absolutely ridiculous. It's no better than the national league and arguably worse.
