I missed this one last night. Absolute drivel. There hasn't been a single Town fan on The Fishy let alone on here that has suggested that we deserved anything from that match.

Massive Notts-on-TFF vibes to go and make the Chesterfield v Grimsby post-match all about them because they haven't won 8-3 this weekend.

I personally haven't listened to him yet but you're right, he is a massive sugarcoater. We did play well for periods yesterday though, especially right out of the blocks. Artell's Town continue to impress and disappoint in equal measure. Would be nice if he acknowledged the flaws a bit more.
Yeah it’s frustrating listening to Artell’s interviews because I like the guy but I wish he’d be more honest and acknowledge what actually happened instead of just mentioning our best bits and ignoring the rest, he could do with taking a leaf out of Paul Cook’s book, his interview yesterday was pure class I’ve got massive respect for him after listening to that.

Good set of lads on here but for the Twitter Carlisle virgins you can stick your racist chants, your fireworks, your pitch invasions, your crap rivalry and that referee today right up your arse.
To be fair the same works both ways... this website is a place where the majority are just genuine fans with a healthy respect of the fans of other clubs and everyone is very civil and actually funny and have good banter when they want (even masi51), all clubs also have a large* following of utter tools who do the whole racist chants or tragedy chanting or just obsessively trolling other clubs' social media and supporters' groups. Not surprised if there are Carlisle fans who set up camp in Bradford City's socials and bombard them with shit attempts at banter, there are (mainly Barrow and Bradford) fans who do exactly the same wherever we are while simultaneously claiming we mean nothing to them.

I'd leave pitch invasions out of it tbh as there aren't many who given the opportunity wouldn't run onto the pitch with a few thousand others at the finale of a successful season and though the club administrations have to wag fingers and say down with this kind of thing secretly everyone who runs a club at this level loves it.

*Salford excluded of course

You missed a post from a Notts fan and therefore didn't reply???? I don't believe it, that's not what you do. Don't let your high consistency slip SoC.

Trust me Notts fans are more happy that we got ourselves a rare clean sheet than anything else. We've done the entertaining, scores shed loads of goals and comical defending aplenty last season. It's someone else's turn, who knows could be Grimsby's under Dave's watch.

Always bloody scores against us Cooky pain in the arse a different animal this season
Cookie looks a different animal this season. He’s leaner/sharper than ever before.

He’s fast becoming a living legend round these parts.

Entirely justified -

170 apps - 75 goals - 21 assist

Keep going lad!

Well based on your one game against us (yea seen one game so I obviously know how Notts play!) good teams will still punish your defence.

Fortunately for Notts its looking like the good teams have all been promoted and no one replaced them so maybe they will have to wait till next season in lg1 for some more comical defending.

I don't believe that for a second. Plenty of good league two sides. Agree top sides should punish our defence this season but it looks much improved and big improvement between the sticks.

The problem last season was bang average and poor sides punished us. Grimsby scored 7 against us :eyes:

Offer me comical defending in L1 next season and I'll snap your hand off.

We also should have had a penalty. Why you so bothered about winning a game?

I'm really not.

It was our best performance of the season but just 3 expected and already welcome points.

So conceded 4 unfortunate goals, should have had a penalty and thoroughly outplayed. Certainly an entertaining game for the sky cameras.

It's tempting, but often unrewarding. Like picking at a scab and making it seep/get infected. Fwiw I've only blocked 1 person on here, tolerance is very much key on forums.

It really seemed like a game of a single good chance each on Saturday. We took ours, McGill made an excellent save to keep Walsall's out.

We just need to convert our home performances into away games now and we'll shoot up the league.

I only have the 1 blocked too, there seemed a lot of quoted stuff from our fans so I was curious to see what he was waffling on about this time, needn’t have bothered it was just the usual load of tripe.

So turns out he didn't just "make a mistake of clicking ‘show ignored content’ "as he stated just after midnight.

Disappointing to see, but noted. The lad tells lies.

It was worse last season when we were getting pumped 4,5,6 at home and Big D was saying the 'objective data' tells us we should have won the game - someone mentioned gaslighting and there certainly was a touch of that in that terrible run from him and I think that and those results are one of the reasons it will take a while for him to turn some fans opinions of him around .

He has come over to me a bit better this season though - I think his ref rant was actually more 'objective' as he effectively said he was crap for both teams , what worries me is he's slagging off the refs every week , they are bad for everyone but it still can't be helpful for us in terms of upcoming games when the ref will see how much our manager has been slagging of his mates .

Calling people liars is disappointing. Try being pleasant. Don't go full laddo, you know what I mean.

If someone lies they are a liar. It's not difficult to just tell the truth especially about someone you have on ignore, allegedly. But noted. I'm sure the intentional mistakes won't happen again

So from that I take it Viking is accusing me of lying about something?
I’m curious to know what, this should be good.

I was genuinely basing that off our form current being LWLWL more than the opposition! You definitely owe us a defeat at BP after last season's match.
