Billericay trying to poach the Cowleys a couple of weeks ago, apparently. That drew a laugh at this end.

Those Cowley dolls were something a toy manufacturer sent to their wives, btw. Nothing to do with the Club, who don't run the merchandise side of things anyway.

That's a shame. I could start a Kickstarter if anyone else is interested? No one?

So Darragh, why is there a jar of Marmite in our trophy cabinet?

Apparently one of the chiefs of Unilever is a massive Posh fan and had it specially made for our 80th anniversary. Not sure how true that is mind.

A very high percentage of the crowd do.

Anyone remember listening to results with a transistor radio and earphone?
Still do. The FM radio on my PAYG phone gets more use than any other bit. Too tight to pay for any data or expensive "updates," so internet almost always switched off.

I was just coming here to post that Nick. Thank god we avoided him as an owner. Still would be gone by now and we'd be listening to R Kelly around a campfire before matches.

"It's a facking war out there. Rip out your enemy's heart and eat it!"
FFS.. lions do not live in the jungle.
I could see a couple of the players trying not to laugh during the song, I wonder what Paul Konchevsky made of it?

Shut down this thread right now, we have a winner*. This will never ever be forgotten.

*OK maybe not quite as good as Mansfield's bus parade dog, but not far off

Wanted to be the first to post that, but well done, Nick.

This is right up there with the Mansfield Dog, maybe just beating it, in my opinion.

There was also a video going around a while back of them all dancing and singing in the dressing room, celebrating a 2-1 win against Staines fucking Town.

Christ alive. Imagine trying to play football with that idiot in your face all the time. Really couldn't handle that.

The minute R Kelly came on it all came over as some weird parody video  Really something to behold.

People are probably reading this post and laughing, but he came dangerously close to getting his hands on us. He wouldn't have had the same control with us as he has at Billericay (would have been the majority shareholder in a group of six or so) but it's worrying that he got that close.

Blimey. I was half-expecting a chorus of "Ein Volk, ein Reich, ein Führer! Sieg heil!" by the end.

Does anyone know if they actually won?!
