Hmm yes, I never quite fathomed what Motors were doing in that league or how they managed to stay there, at least 200 were Shaymen that night, while the Brandon game was the one where Double Denim Dennis and his mob arrived with 10 minutes to go and missed 5 of the goals. Their coach had burst a tyre half way to the game and they had to wait for a relief coach to catch them up and complete their journey. Pictures posted of the coach's other tyres showed they were as bald as a budgie's egg, even though the driver claimed they were fitted as new 2 weeks earlier. #DeathTrap. :fl:

Vauxhall Motors, although they played next to the Vauxhall Motors Social Club, actually got no support from the car company. The people of Ellesmere Port never really got behind them and the ground was in an awkward place to get to. They rarely averaged crowds of more than 200. Just before they demoted themselves back to the West Cheshire League their chairman, Mr Bartram said we need 300 crowds to continue. They never got it. I spent a season supporting them when mad yank Terry Smith, who was probably the worst football club owner ever and because of boycotting were getting crowds of under 400. Shame about VM because they were what football is all about and their high point was knocking QPR out of the FA Cup about 10 years ago. They may return?

Good thing a proper massive football club put them in their place in the next round. (15 years ago, time flies...)

A bunch turned up not knowing it was all ticket.
If only there was some kind of mass communication medium where people with individual devices could access widely disseminated information at the click of a button. Sounds like science fiction as I scrawl this message on slate with a piece of chalk and summon a carrier pigeon.

Luton's programme yesterday listing our team, looks like we've signed some new strikers as the 3 on here all play for Carlisle Utd:

I didn’t say they weren’t dickheads. But tinpot? Nah. Reckon that goes to the club with a brand new stadium who can’t fit in as many away fans as Maidenhead or Boreham Wood.

Tinpot or dickheads? I quite admire their ingenuity and determination. Slagging off a non league stadium that was built for the Ryman Premier, has been extended twice in three years and will soon be brought up to FL standards? Has any other team in this league had to do that to cope with crowds? But yeah, if it makes your bollocks bigger, our ground is tinpot compared to one that has had 112 years to prepare for this division.

The away end at Maidstone was not fit for purpose when we went. It's an accident waiting to happen.

Elmore fans for being jealous whiney cry babys becase they support a tinpot team not the more successful one happy to slag off our fans behind our backs.

The most tinpot rivalry ever seen on 1FF. I've never heard of either club.

This is still my favourite post on here.

Yeah, that was the prevailing feeling garnered on Saturday. Quite a few saying it felt considerably more dangerous than a traditional terrace and that they won’t be back.

Halifax have "Shaymen 'til I Die" printed under the number on the back of their shirts.

Too many questions.

Firstly...is the 'take-out' option merely a window that they open and pass stuff through? Once unlocking the sophisticated security measures in place that is.

Presumably. Does it offer better fare than the average tea hut, Silkmen?

That photo was probably taken at ten to. Still, I've got to compliment Macclesfield again for their fair standing prices.

Concerned for all Christmas trees out there that are cut down only for nobody to be arsed with them.

Doubt it though as looking at them they would need their mam to drop them off. Now the faces of these are out there I imagine this will be an on-going thing and our next visit to Holker St won't be pretty, if it ever is. All very depressing.

Like a lot of teams, the kids are the scourge of their clubs. Don't know what can be done, other than banning everyone that looks a bit chavvy.
Our 'fans' seem to be the biggest lot of c*** out there though. Hate 'em.
