He's having a great season for a fairly average Kidsgrove side. The only time I have seen him this season was a very eventful game against Rugby Town where he ended up in goal after the Grove keeper was sent off and had to face a penalty. He then also scored a late penalty to equalise!

There's no doubting he's a great goalscorer he even did it at this level. I just can't see him wanting to come back and if he did whether he could replicate his form.

Malbon was bloody brilliant in your playoff season. Was always a bit fat though and he was even more chunky the season after. Always rated him however.

He definitely had issues when it came to fitness, while most players were in the gym or had gone back to pre-season early to work on their fitness he was tweeting "Pre-season is for fitness not before" or something to that effect. But at the same time his weight didn't effect him as he always found the net.

I'd honestly take him back as I know he loves the club and he will always be a fans favourite I just think he's happy at Kidsgrove as part time and at that level. But if he worked on his fitness he'd have been a decent football league striker I'm sure.

I know, I feel bad putting it here because I know I've left matches feeling exactly the same way. Luckily for me, I don't have to write match reports! Plus the fact that since I started following Macc I have trained as a referee so I'm not as harsh on officials any more because in a very small way I know how it feels.
