As for Kosylo, he made it clear in his parting interview that he didn't want to be here last season so no great loss for us no matter how well he does for Fylde

According to our current owners they have a shortlist of prospective new managers which has been given the thumbs up by all of the prospective new owners. So we could have a new manager in place before the new owners but no-one knows at the moment who either of them will be.

Would be chaos. So last game of the season one team would have already finished their season? Imagine needing other results to go your way but you've already finished your season

Really feel for Gateshead fans, not a nice way for us to stay up and completely undeserved considering the shambles of a season we had. Hopefully we’ve learned our lesson from last season and we can kick on.

Why was it only down one league for Gateshead? Don't teams usually get thrown out of the National League full stop i.e. to the one below the NLS/NLN?

As I mentioned on the other thread, Truro were first in line to be reprieved and after their antics this season the NL made a judgement call that Gateshead under new ownership would be less of a nuisance than Truro. Previous clubs to have been thrown out hadn't brought in seemingly competent ownership before the AGM.

I think I read in the Non League Paper that Gateshead effectively did a plea deal with the league to only drop one division, rather than appeal the initial sentence (resulting in a potential 2 division drop)

Interesting to note at the AGM nothing was made of Ebbsfleets non-payment of any of their staff or squad for months on end, are the National League going soft, they usually chuck you out immediately for that kind of behaviour.
