When did that Beadle bloke even go?

Flowers will set-piece Barnet to safety, those scrums will be on point.

Sacked yesterday, he had completely lost the dressing room a couple of weeks ago.

Not 100% sure but if it was I have no idea why we didn’t push the boat out for him.
The same reason we didn't pay out for TF. TK went for the cheapest option. I don't think the other candidate was Gary Hill. It was Sol Campbell.

Ah, so they've inherited it rather than it being new debt. Makes more sense, I did think it was odd!

They owed £11m the previous year, so that's an improvement, though suggestions that when the new owner came on board, the difference was written off.

Was always known to be the case that it had been transferred to their company rather than written off, I think.

The whole, massive debt has been rolled over from previous owners, Munto ( entirely fictitious front committing large fraud, mastermind Russel King now in prison ) Ray Trew, then Alan Hardy, (Notts bankrupted him in18 months flat ). The Reedtz brothers now own it and on paper have shrunk it although I've no idea how as our expenditure is still above income.
As long as the Reedtz brothers remain interested and solvent we should be okay but when they tire of splurging millions a year we'll go back to being a basket case teetering at the edge of oblivion.

Is the correct answer.

Already noticed huge and hopefully significant differences between Trew/Hardy and the Reedtz ownership. Any owner(s) can walk away at any time obviously but until that happens I'm very happy with their approach to owning and running a football club. We are currently a basket case free zone.

Feels weird

Just curious to know if the Brotherhood will be happy to accept any new members next season?

As far as I was aware the Brotherhood started the season Hartlepool joined the National League so we never had the pleasure.

it seams like Hartlepool have been here nearly as long as Wrexham... is it really only since 2017?

Surely you’re Tinpot if you manage to get relegated twice and lose brotherhood status immediately, same if you’re in here for more than 5 years it’s the same outcome.

At the minute we are as tinpot as it gets, both on and off the pitch.

With Notts losing again and Torquay walking away with the league are the Neil Ardley out voices being raised again?

Nah, he’ll definitely get the season unless something disastrous happens and we don’t look like making the play-offs, which I can’t see. No way we’ll be consistent enough to challenge Torquay, but I would still predict us to finish second or third probably.

I just can’t see it having failed to score in 5 of your 14 league matches is abysmal for a team aiming for such a high position. Safety first managers don’t do well at this level as the players have too many mistakes in them. Think Hartlepool and Stockport will be second and third in any order.

If we still can’t score when Roberts and Thomas are back, then I’d agree.

Ardley is under pressure, there's a section of fans who want him out every time we lose and have done since he took us down. We do need to score more goals urgently, you can't bank on clean sheets, they come easier when you've a goal threat and push teams back.

Don't worry they're not going anywhere for a while. Look at the clubs that have come down and are stuck here, with the exception of Notts and Chesterfield, they're all the same clubs that kept us company at the bottom end of the Football League for decades- Wrexham, York, Darlington, Hereford, Stockport, Torquay, Chester, Aldershot, HAHAHAHartlepool. There's only Rochdale missing. It's in all our DNA- failure, loss, humiliation. Being SHIT is what we do. We exist to be SHIT. We're SHIT, therefore we ARE! We few, we happy few, we band of brothers..... :fl: :ds: :woo:

What's the deal with Torquay? Not been paying much attention but they seem to be flying. They weren't very good in the game against us, albeit scored in the 95th min to win it. Didn't have them down as title challengers after that game.
