What's the deal with Torquay? Not been paying much attention but they seem to be flying. They weren't very good in the game against us, albeit scored in the 95th min to win it. Didn't have them down as title challengers after that game.
They beat us 5-0 at ours, 3 of the goals were just handed on a plate and the other two were massive defensive errors but they were efficient and looked a clinical side. Was one of the worst games I've ever seen from us but that aside they looked like a very good team at this level.

I didn't have them down as serious title contenders pre season but never underestimate Gary Johnson sides.

They always seem to score late on. By my reckoning they've made 10 points through late winners in the last 5 minutes

Not content with taking our stadium, nicking a non contract player off us, luring our fitness coach, an attempt to take our manager, Barnet triggered the clause in Jacob Mendy-Mendy, a left sided defender/midfielder, contract. He spoke to them and then told them to f**k off, despite a double your money offer. Like our manager, he’s destined for bigger and better things than Barnet. Not sure what TK will try and take off us next? Our award winning programme team? Car park attendant? Litter picker?

So - we're somehow underhand for making an offer for one of your players through the proper channels, that met a clause that you put in his contract?

Not everything is a conspiracy.

Obviously lacks ambition and intelligence, just like your manager. Loyalty gets you nowhere in football, he only needs to have a run of bad games and he'll be binned off.

No but going for two players, a fitness coach/sport scientist and our management team in 3 weeks is crass. There's a whole world out there to recruit from that doesn't revolve around HA4.

The same management team who previously took a job at Billericay under a bullish chairman and were turfed out within 6 months were uneasy about taking a job under a chairman who (also) has form for going through managers quicker than Jefferson Louis does clubs. How unintelligent of them...

Mendy and his agent are probably hedging their bets hoping an EFL team will come in for him in January which makes far more sense.

I don’t know Councillor Ferry has been loyal to Tk, I’m sure he has been well rewarded.

Ambition in football is not signing for a side in the same division on a downward spiral with a trigger happy owner, and I’m not sure Barnet is the big team they think they are.
Just maybe he has ambitions and that is far higher than Barnet, we will see.

It's not crass, provided we go through the proper channels. Didn't you guys pillage Maldon & Tiptree in the summer?

I've heard no complaints from your boardroom either, we haven't done anything underhand.

I don't think any Barnet fans will tell you that any of our sackings were unjustified, it's that the appointments were terrible in the first place. Currie should probably have been offered more to extend his contract but that wasn't a sacking as such.

On the contrary, turning down TK's thirty pieces of silver to join the circus at PEPF shows they have far more about them than the usual clowns you manage to attract down there.

If TK still wants to throw a £50k transfer fee at a Stones player, we've got a winger he can have..

Did anyone say you had been underhand? Just that your horizons don’t seem to go further than HA4 at the moment? Does TK think well that’s a well run club unlike my own which I run in narcissistic haphazard and foolhardy manner?

Surprised he's got £50k to throw about given the impact Covid has had on The Hive. Revenues don't appear to have been anywhere near a decent return on the investment made before Covid either. Bloke must be thinking about cashing his chips in at some point.. the site has a BIG valuation.. only way he's going to realise any significant return and spend his retirement on the beach.

Yep, dreadful investment, it's not like any other businesses have been affected by Covid.

Because no club has signed multiple staff and players from another club, ever.

Fucking hell this set of Wealdstone fans here are complete weirdos. This is proper odd behaviour - has anyone ever been so triggered by us before?!

We approached a player of yours who is very highly rated and done nothing wrong. We signed a non-contract player by offering him a contract. We approached your manager who turned us down.

The fitness coach wanted to work with better facilities and a former premier league winner. Who could blame him?

As for the stadium... we’ve been through this all before. We stole nothing, you weirdos.

What on earth happened at Yeovil? National League is about their level but National South a few years after being in the Championship is pretty mad

Hi Wealdstone fan. I must confess I knew little about the Stones so I just had a peak at your Wiki entry. I see you've been fairly nomadic and were a successful early Conference club. Do you have any long term plans to return to your spiritual home?

Incidentally two of your current players :- Ross Lafayette and Moses Emmanuel have been thorns in our side in the past. Had to laugh a Wiki's description of Lafayette as being 9' 6". I know he's tall, but not that tall. Good luck when you play Barnet.

We didn't spend any money when we were in the Championship as we didn't have any. We then didn't spend any in League1 or League 2 as we still didn't have any. Same last year although we got close to going back up. We have new owners but they don't have any money so nothing has changed.

Sorry, should have said "planned" £100m investment. And as for triggered weirdos, our feelings towards your owner and your club are more than warranted, as hinted at by our club lawyer on our forum this morning too.

Happy new year btw, hope you get relegated.

Imagine being so tinpot that your ‘club lawyer’ posts on the fans forum...

We may well get relegated - but we’ll still have ‘your £100m ground’.

Again, weird bunch. Stay classy.

How’s the Back to Barnet campaign going, as well as the vote on leaving Underhill?

TK will Always have it.

I remember when working in Yeovil and at the time you went into the Championship your then owner stated " This has come too early and maybe a step too far ". But i never did blame you for going for it. Also when GJ returned and did away with everything bar the first team ie all the budget went to them. Thus without investing in the acadamy for the future also went against Yeovil.

Yes, our Chairman at the time, John Fry, admitted privately after we won the play off final that he wished we had lost. It wasn't sustainable for us to play at that level. It was a gamble to pool everything into the 1st team anx one that failed. We have an academy again but because of the lack of funds we've let a number of young players go in the last few years who have then signed for clubs in the PL or Championship. Very frustrating.
