What's the deal with watching games during COVID times down here? Is there any kind of non-league iFollow or is it just the matches on BT?

Every club has its own streaming thing. They vary wildly in price and quality.

That's so Conference. Are any of them more than a tenner a game? We'll probably be on BT most weeks again so I'll definitely have to pay less than this season surely.
That's hilarious. Is there any logic behind who gets to have a neck and who doesn't? Also Jay Harris is back at Wrexham? It's like we never left. How's RHJ doing? Didn't know you had him either. Is that Wes Thomas with braids/cornrows too?

Ours is £12 but a proper professional job, basically like watching it on TV with the commentary from Radio Nottingham, replays, multiple angles etc

King’s Lynn’s is also £12 and they’ve been appealing on Twitter for a volunteer cameraman for our game tonight.

Some of the commentary for away games has been very funny, to be fair.

Big bout of gigantism in the squad this season, we just can’t catch a break on the injury front.

RHJ might just be our top scorer, I’ve not checked. Useless defensively but all he ever does is score it seems. It’s probably our second worst team of the Conference era that.

Newport had two commentary streams recently. One was the radio one which was pretty standard, but the other one was some old boy who sounded really sad until Newport scored and he really piped up.

RHJ's finest moment for us was probably when he played CB at Palace in the FA cup 3rd Round. We almost took them to a replay with a back four that a CM at LB, two RBs at CB and a winger at LB (after the only defender who was in his natural position got sent off in the 3rd minute). So I feel an affinity for him, but yeah he's not very good form what I remember.

Yours was good I thought.

Ours is also really good (depending on if we have a co-commentator and who it is). Thought Dagenhams was decent and the commentators were very good too.

Some of them have been dire - Boreham Wood, Yeovil, Torquay all pretty bad for various reasons. Didn't bother with Wealdstone or Altrincham but heard they weren't great either.

Always enjoy a summariser for my £10/12. When we played at Chessie it was an ex player, Phil someone? I wonder how much they get paid?

All volunteers at Chesterfield, even the main guy who does it every week!!

Not sure whether that’s the case at all clubs?

Ours is now much better compared to the start of the season, the first game vs. Stockport was shambolic from start to finish and whilst improved for the Chesterfield match there were still some minor problems. There is always a co-commentator/summariser too.

Alty, Barnet, Halifax and Notts County all had excellent streams. Maidenhead definitely wins the worst one because they took my money and had to put up a free stream after 10 minutes because of technical errors.

Poor from Maidenhead. Also poor from our own club to charge some fans twice for the Gloucester FA Trophy game because of an error, and never issue a refund despite stating they would. I doubt many fans would ask for the money back, but as a principle they should have contacted everyone affected afterwards.

That's terrible from us (also tinpot thread worthy). I'm hoping and assuming that any Gloucester supporters who paid twice were provided with a refund?

No idea. The purchased codes from the postponed game didn't work for the rearranged game, so if you wanted to watch it you had to buy again. And then radio silence.

It's almost all volunteers as far as i'm aware. I think we run a scheme with uni students at Huddersfield and maybe Sheff Hallam so those on the camera's/doing the highlights are all students too on a placement.
We might pay the main camera man (although he has done it for years and is a fan, rather than a job so not sure).

Phil Walker is an ex player, we won't be paying those most of them are local lads/fans as well as ex players so probably jump at the chance of getting in the ground. We've had Drew Talbot and Jamie Hewitt recently and they were both spot on, but also had a couple of half wits.

Did Drew actually get round to doing his commentary? I thought he was due to be co-commentator for the postponed Lynn game - but is due to commentate tomorrow night now.

Our live streaming has been an awful, buggy mess since we switched providers just before Christmas. We had to switch to a free stream for the Stockport game last week as well.

I think you're right, I knew he was pencilled in but thought he'd done another game prior to that. Think Jamie Hewitt has done 1 or 2 games so might have been him i'd thought I'd heard twice

Wrexham have poached the Commercial Director from Burton Albion. She's the Chairman's daughter and has done an amazing job there. The lure of Hollywood is obviously strong.

Couldn't be happier with that appointment.

Looks like we will run with 22 teams next season. Any shred of credibility they have left will be gone if they don't relegate Dover.
