I'd say of anyone the suprise package for me could be Woking. They have started to pick up some good results
Aye but they’re only 40/1 which is probably about fair, 80/1 for a team who go top with wins in their 2 games in hand is nuts

Yeah it keeps showing up on mine too, tempting sometimes to click on show ignored content but I’m resisting for now as I clicked on it a couple of days ago and ended up replying to Masi again which is a waste of time as it’s like trying to have a conversation with a 3 year old.

Not really. We are part time and poor as church mice just enjoying the ride while it lasts

Stockport County.
Ryan Colclough won't be on peanuts. Stocky have you opened a file on Altrincham yet? Might need to fast track an investigation here.
Set Altrincham up on the Sage-Excel interlink.

Set them up as Part Time and added AJ Leitch Smtih, Colclough, Ben Pringle, Dean Furman and the fact they have 4 left backs on their books.

The Excel "could not open as the file was corruputed"

I'll let you know more news when I get it mate.

Our game away to Boreham this Sat was on BT sport but now it’s not, Hunter was probably trying charge BT to park their trucks and to film it. Bizarre late change.

It’s not £24 quid is it now?

I paid £21 for the terrace the other week and it’s a fucking shit hole
Paid £21 for the terrace. The issue with it is a complete lack of banking and gradient. It's built for what the club is meant for, Southern League Division One.
They've got Notts County on Boxing day, for any Notts fans who actually want to watch the game either go in the seats or get there very, very early. The other option is get a child. Was rammed when we got in, I just pushed my eldest to the front and plonked him on the wall then stood behind him.
The owner is clearly trying to recoup some of the money pumped in by going full time.

Not quite good enough for the tinpot thread but an interesting read nonetheless with Chairman and ex-player trying to justify current prices at King’s Lynn, despite some supporters advising why there’s been a drop in support.

Chris Henderson’s justification for current prices that King’s Lynn have progressed further on the pitch than off the pitch with back to back promotions is automatically quashed when Weymouth have done the exact same thing and Alty were promoted from Step 3 the year before.

Long story short, in my opinion at least they’re idiots for going full time.
Stockport County fans of a particular vintage will be able to tell you about our infamous 'ten bob gate', when the club raised prices from 6s (about £4.20 today) to 10s (£7). By comparison, you could go watch recent European Cup winners Man U for 4s (£2.80). Crowds dropped by half, making the whole venture a loss-maker. These things never end well.

Compare that with that Bratfud did in recent years, with their £100 season tickets (crept up since then, but still)

If he Carries on he will score 35+ which will go a long way to winning the league for you and win me some cash.

Mcmahon has won the manager award which would explain why we’ve lost every game this month.

I'm bored as soon as I check the alerts e.g. boringanorakbastard replied to the thread 'the effect of long diagonal balls on heat maps between the 61st to the 82nd minute of 4th tier football matches ANALYSED'
He clearly wasn't joking with his choice of name.

Also yesterday the PL agreed a 2 billion deal with NBC, so 5 million was just a drop in the ocean

The further payments were agreed with the government as part of the UK TV rights being rolled over for a further three years, so it wasn't as a result of the US deal.

Is he suggesting that "doing it the right way" is by comparing Daggers spending with Wrexham?
He claims our budget is double Daggers. And that is based on our average attendance being nearly 9000 and Daggers 2000. Never mind our huge sponsorship deals etc.In fact it's probable we are running at a profit this season
Sounds like Daggers are over spending and dependant on the rich owners

Thing he is just saying if he wanted to he could chuck lots more at it but isn’t, unlike Wrexham. He says our budget is £1.5m which would go along with what some fans worked out as the consortium putting the budget up £250k per year on top of our turnover so one striker for Wrexham but yeah we’re the ones defendant on rich owners selling a few more tickets won’t cover your layout, profit haha. Funny thing is our consortium are worth far more than Wrexham owners. He’s right but not cutting local ties, once the media spotlight goes for Wrexham the likes of Tiktok won’t be hanging around.

Haven’t Wrexham been involving those trailer people and other local businesses in loads of their videos with the owners and stuff? Can criticise them as much as you like but they seem pretty committed to the local area and all of that sort of thing. In fact I don’t think you can criticise any of that from them so far, it’s the football stuff where they’ve made some weird decisions but I assume they’ve got people for that anyway.

I’m not criticising anyone here just an observation that if you go away from local sponsors it might might bite you on bum in a few years should the current set up move on. Good luck to the Wrexham fans they deserve a bit of success after that crap they’ve had to put up with last 20 years.

It’s easier to have local sponsors when you’ve morphed from half of London and Essex.

Yes they have. Most people seem to not mention any of that stuff because it doesn't help the narrative of 'Oil Money Wetsum'.

Ignoring the money coning in from the social media stuff, the documentary and sponsorship deals our average attendance is 4 times that of D&R. Even with all the money being spent I would hazard a guess we are a more sustainable club than them. Even with players like Balanta and McCallum clearly on peanuts.

Thats two rival chairmen in the press this week banging on about us.

Tik tok, Expedia, Macron and Aviation Gin are all high profile international sponsors. But we are also sponsored by a whole host of local companies

To be fair to Reynolds and McElhenney they have also been vocal (and financial) backers of local charities and businesses. The Turf is going to be featured in the documentary for example. They have become heavily involved in the town regeneration scheme.

The reason we are all so giddy about them is that to date they have been dream owners.

Christ so we now have Dagenham - Wrexham and Wealdstone - Dagenham to add to the never ending lists of BEEF on this forum.
