Thanks Daggers, for taking the Wealdstone beef off us for the time being.
what?!Now confirmed by our owner that he will no longer be funding the club and that we are surviving purely on any money from our FA Cup run.
Could be our saviour....shame for Yeovil.AGM Cup just got interesting
It was a good atmosphere but it was a shame how few people turned up last night. A number of our fans are now having a go at the Glovers Trust for not revealing this news earlier in the week, saying ot may have made more people go to the game.Anxious watching of the draw tomorrow then. Shame, as I thought Yeovil looked good and there seemed a decent atmosphere around the place
Yes, there's zero money in the pot and hasn't been for a long time. It really is hand to mouth. The problem is our owner didn't buy the club with his own money as he hasn't got any, he took out several loans. He's relied on those and government handouts to get us to this point. If we get anything other than an EPL team and it's on tv then we're screwed. As Paul Sturrock said in a post-match interview a few years back "We're fucked"That's crazy, you must have used that money up already?
You can't be relying on getting a good cup draw to keeps the lights on, that's crazy, no doubt this crook in charge will pocket it anyway; we've been there more than once! Hopefully you can get him out and get some stabilityYes, there's zero money in the pot and hasn't been for a long time. It really is hand to mouth. You're right it is crazy, unfortunately he's holding all the cards. He says he will sell but only to the right bidder - that means whoever will meet his apparently iver-inflated valuation. The rumours are there are two potential buyers who have been in talks for a few months now. There was a consortium of local business people of whom several are fans, but that seems to have died down, then there is the other current Director of the club who no-one trusts. The other party is Julian Jenkins who used to be at Cardiff, he's the one the fans want but so far nothing's happened. Yep, we all knew he was bad news from the start but frustratingly he's the one our previous owners sold to. His history is bizarre and very alarming.Scott Priestnall...
Multiple entries on Companies house.
Involved with lots of dissolved companies.
Connections to sports agents.
Connections to asset strippers.
Mates with Jed McCrory.
This was all known since 2019, he's basically a giant red flag.
This whole circus cannot be any good for our club. FFS someone sort it out. He’s come out swinging. What an absolute shitshow.Yeovil Town Football Club - CLUB NEWS | An update from the Chairman
There has been much speculation of late regarding the ownership of the club and a potential sale being connected to my lack of attendances ...www.ytfc.net

Hopefully it is indeed moves as it would make a lot of sense.Grimsby fans, I can see potential in our game on Tuesday 25th January being moved forward to the 8th January. With Boreham Wood winning against St. Albans, we will both be without a league game between the 2nd (3rd for you) and 22nd January so it does make sense to move it.
At least they've done their accounts
