#MaccAttack.

Welcome back, lads. 4 points from 3 games is pretty straight forward, and that's assuming Tranmere win all their remaining games.

Massively impressive win that for Macc, it's done and dusted now. Congratulations.
Sounded fairly comfortable as well and could/should have scored more. BWood maybe should have bagged too but we kept Andrade quiet and Ferrier missed a couple of chances.

Still plenty to do, we can't rely on Tranmere dropping points, need to beat Orient on satdy.

Think tonight could have knocked the stuffing out of Woking. But then Maidstone are rubbish too. Solihull still have Tranmere and Fylde to play so aren't completely safe either. Barrow have the games in hand.

Most importantly though, are we all ready for Torquay to win their final 4 games and stay up miraculously on goal difference from Woking. Because I think that might just finish me off.

This is getting out of hand.

Fair play to Macclesfield though. Tranmere vs Fylde at Wembley?

Yep and you'll be conclusively reffed out of it. The National League wants a big club in the showpiece event but under no circumstances will they be allowed to win it. Especially a club with the crowds that Tranmere have and, more importantly, take to away games.

Even we won a rare game tonight ~~ winner scored by our diminutive striker Nathan Brown in 90th minute.

If we finish 2nd and lose in the playoff final again, i'm gonna punch the nearest person really hard and resign from football.

Take an absolute bow Nathan Brown, barely 5ft tall and just scored a stunning late winner. Genuinely just ran straight through half of Bromley's team by himself to do it.

Moment of the season for me and a thoroughly deserved win for a change.

That’d be ridiculous and extremely likely.

If only Mellon had been in charge all season, 52 points from the last 24 games.

Well we can safely say that we'll be seeing most of you fuckers next season for another 46 games of National League tinpottery, shit pitches and even shitter referees.

He's so small! Did he run through their legs?

We're bottling it big time, Barrow and Solihull keep getting the points and we're here throwing away all our points, I honestly think we're getting relegated now.

What a second half.

Win our last 5 and we are in the play offs.

Yes, I'm optimistic. I'm sure that will be crushed when Barrow hammer us 1-0 on Saturday.

Andy Cook joins Danny Rowe as National League top scorer with 24 goals, all from open play. He was absolutely immense tonight.

Cook v Rowe face-off in the play-off final ?

Dreadful first half but sensational second half. Win on Sat and that'll be us in the top 3. Macc winning the league early on is a bit better for our playoff hopes as we can focus on them from now instead of still having the hope right until the end like last season.

2-0 at Boreham Wood is a brilliant result. Congrats to Macc fully deserved.

What was I saying about not being able to score unless it's Luke James and we never win at home?

My heart rate has only just settled down after that one, a late Eastleigh equaliser would've been a crushing blow and I wouldn't have seen any way back from it, especially if it was their keeper Flitney's diving header that went in instead of hitting the bar with the last 'kick' of the game. I hope it's a case of two home wins in quick succession with another win against Ebbsfleet on Saturday. Still a lot of work to do, but it's in our hands and a win this weekend could see us leapfrog three teams should results go our way.

Tranmere and Fylde winning is not ideal, but could have been a lot worse.

Looking likely we’ll go down now. Without an away win since 3rd October.

Barrow will probably just about be OK with their games in hand, as probably will Solihull based on recent form and with them playing Guiseley at Home next.

Between us and Maidstone now I think. Suspect we’ll both lose this weekend to Bromley and Fylde. Our goal difference is shit as well which adds an extra point required.

Torquay are a bigger club than Halifax. Shouldn’t you let them win to help preserve the natural order?

I don't think you've grasped the concept at all. There is no hierarchy within the Brotherhood of Great and Historic Football League Clubs. They owe us a relegation. :bdick:

I've never come away from a Maidstone game so dejected & pissed off. That was the worst Maidstone performance I've ever seen.....we were that bad.

No fight, no passion, no shot on goal & the players didn't even look like they gave a shit.
