Ive been talking all season about how tollitts playacting would come back to bite him. Hes been booked twice for diving in the box and how he got away with the one against macc at our place when all he needed was a pair of trunks to complete the stupidity of it i dont know it was so bad i think the ref was so shocked he forgot too book him.

Yesterdays was a penalty imo however word is out within refereeing circles if in doubt with tollitt dont give it..... hes his own worst enemy mellon needs to get a grip of him and explain how his diving in the past may have influenced the decision yesterday.

One quick aside not one of tollitts many dives have resulted in a spotkick being awarded he needs to stop, or use it sparingly

Are the refs even aware of past incidents at this level? Matt Rhead spends half of every game rolling around on the floor and moaning at the referee and they seem to lap it up every time. Not sure yesterday's bellend would be aware Tollitt had dived previously. I'd also say that his second yellow in the Chester game there was actually contact. It may not have been a penalty but after watching the replay he was slightly clipped.

Bit reckless, yes studs were showing but he's gone in low and played the ball, so not a red imo. You appealing it?

At least the Bromley player didn't roll around on the floor tbf. Normally what happens is the fouled player rolls around pretending he's been shot and everyone rushes in for a melee, forcing the ref to react.

From that video it looks like Porter initially turns to the referee to argue which way a throw in was given. Once he realises his team mates are crowding the ref for a red card he joins in. Just as bad as rolling around on the floor in agony and he continued in that vain for the entire game. 10 a penny in this league players like him who make up for a lack of ability with cheating and gamesmanship.

Some of your fans were a disgrace first game of the season. Shouting abuse and reportedly throwing bottles at the old guys and families walking back to their cars after the game.

We've got a fair few dickheads that follow us (hence the Chester bubble games) but a small section of Dover fans (literally a dozen or so) seem to be on some Green Street fantasy trip. It'll come and bite them in the arse but unfortunately itll be the normal fans who suffer.
You're probably right but our idiots are 15-19 years old, yours were 40 year old men who should know better and assaulted our supporters leading to actual police investigation.

All teams have them unfortunately

The remnants of the so called Frontline clinging onto their apparent reputation, possibly.

Bunch of sad old men who can't give up their mispent youth.

Unfortunately it seems that your lot attacked our fans who didn't want trouble and our fans who wanted trouble attacked your fans who didn't want trouble. Probably both sets too scared to start on each other knowing they'll actually get a thump back.

All really quite pathetic, although judging from our forum you'd think all supporters wearing Adidas trainers and jeans are hooligans :dk:

Never a red card. The Bromley players have completely had the referee there.

Screwed up our season in the process unfortunately.

I can't see Tranmere appealing against that decision. You always run the risk of getting sent off going in for the ball like Buxton did.
I thought it was quite bizare starting McNulty suffering with flu and then not having a replacement on the bench, as well running the risk of having a flu epidemic at the club.

if it was actually the flu, he wouldn't have even been able to get out of bed, never mind play 30 mins of a football match.

A little off-topic, but our match with Dagenham at Sincil Bank has been rearranged for Tuesday April 4th, nearish to the end of the season.

Wouldn't be surprised if that ended up being a sell-out in the home end.

Suspect we'd have tried to get it played between their FGR and Barrow games.

He apparently had a bit of a pop at Radio Lincs because Thommo, who Hill apparently knows well, tried to ask him what he was so upset about and he kicked off.

What did he say about Cowleys parents? Must have missed that bit.

Mentioning the opposition managers nose in a post match interview is definitely the strangest thing he's ever done. And he's signed Chris Arthur 3 times.

I've not heard anything, it was apparently something off air around the media guys but I think it was just a 'bet your parents are proud of you both' type comments.

Hill was still at it as he and the Cowleys came from the tunnel after the game. They just couldn't shake him off!

Didn't Cowley play for Hill at some point in his career?

Pupil beating the teacher TWICE in a season no wonder he's in a huff!
Both goals of Woking's from set pieces as well plus numerous other free kicks from places goals could have come from, yeah really hard done by, bless...

Wait, Lincoln fans aren't STILL going on about this, are they? Garry Hill has single handedly rattled all of Lincoln. He's gunna need a bigger boat.

Cowley's too good AND clever for Garry Hill it seems.

Coops said he hopes Lincoln win the FA Cup and the Cowley's get the Man Utd job. We need them out of this league asap, it's not fair on everyone else.

Having seen the highlights now, and I'm sure Cox would say the same, yeah, definite red card (it was 2 that went, not 7 as the post above says).

Unbelivably, despite the video evidence, you appealed the red card, which most go down as one of the most ridiculous appeals in history. Had you been able to, and appealed the Anderton red I could understand it (plenty of refs would have let that go with a final warning), but the first one is nothing but a straight red!

Unsuprisingly, the FA threw out the appeal, which was about the only thing they could do.

All the anecdotal evidence seems to suggest he didn't actually kick him, but I agree, the video looks pretty clear cut. Not really arsed, nowt's come of it except we've been slurred to bring in some cover at right back.
