You've hit rock bottom when you're only comeback is taking the piss out of an opposition manager's nose.

I'd say ROCK BOTTOM was when Lord Hill headbutted Tommy Widdrington at full-time in 2007, breaking Widdrington's nose.

Bet GH didn't realise this many Lincoln fans would get so riled at a harmless jibe. Top of the league, fifth round of the FA Cup and all Lincoln fans are talking about is what Garry Hill, of little, plucky Woking, said. Must drive Cowley nuts.

Moving away from the sendings off how good were barrows goals yesterday and for that matter aldershots keepers save

There's been no doubt all along about the quality of Barrows goals and Hannah's free kick was probably the best I've ever seen live. There is also no doubt we should have seen the game out against 9 men, it's not the refs fault we didn't. We have nobody to blame but ourselves for not winning, but once again the Greek bellend who was masquerading as a as ref proved he is not up to this standard but making some very strange decisions against both sides.

Another disappointing result, certainly after taking the lead, but as usual thereafter we began to sit deeper and deeper and the equaliser did not come as a shock to any Dover supporters.
The amount of points we have if not thrown away, certainly lost from winning positions this season is now beyond absurd.
We were all buoyed by the recent signings, especially Deverdics and N'Gala but as expected CK chose not to play both with the latter even though our defence continues to be a mistake in the making sittimng on the bench "So he can see how we play!!!!!".
How the hell N'Gala didn't start in front of Orlu who is now just embarrassing remains a mystery. Like most players yesterday Deverdics had a quiet return, though his dead ball deliveries are thankfully still a joy to behold but our problem yet again (two headed chances for Thomas apart) is that we created nothing. It wasn't a case as someone suggested earlier of Wrexham marshalling Miller and Lafayette they simply didn't see the bloody ball and that was disappointing in a game we were all looking forward to.

All that said amazingly though despite only winning 2 or 3 out of the last 10,11 we still find ourselves in a play off position, suggesting, Aldershot apart perhaps, everyone under us are being equally inconsistent and if only Kinnear would be a bit braver and allow the lads to get the ball down and play, especially as we have now have the players to do just that, and then start defending properly we could easily go on a run, and any team from 5th to 10th who can string a run of say five victories in six could find themselves in the play off position 6,7 points clear with 8,9 games to go and thats what we have to aim to.
But for Gods sake Kinnear, bring N'Gola in and oust the totally useless Orlu, that would be a great start

It's another three points, I hope Woking avoid relegation, they can push towards the top half again if they retain some of their playing staff.

Onto Burnley.

I could very well be shortly actually, that's life though.

Haha knew it.

Tbf always found football was a pretty good cure for most shit that happens in life, especially if your team is doing as well as yours is.

Never a red card. The Bromley players have completely had the referee there.

Screwed up our season in the process unfortunately.

Bit reckless, yes studs were showing but he's gone in low and played the ball, so not a red imo. You appealing it?

At least the Bromley player didn't roll around on the floor tbf. Normally what happens is the fouled player rolls around pretending he's been shot and everyone rushes in for a melee, forcing the ref to react.

We had a ridiculous decision against North Ferriby earlier in the season where Norwood was red-carded despite there being no contact with the opposition keeper, and no attempt at contact. Our appeal was rejected as frivolous, so I doubt we will challenge this one.

It's a yellow card - he's led with both feet which can be deemed reckless, however in mitigation, he has won the ball and had no intention of causing injury.

It's unlucky for Tranmere because I don't think they're seven points better than us over the season's remainder barring some very unfortunate events, so they may have to settle for the play-offs now.

Good solid away performance today. We were under the cosh early in going 2-0 down, but battled back well in the second half and deserved to equalise. It was good to see a strong referee too.
Wind up or serious comment?

I hope that comment was made tongue in cheek. If it is a serious comment you really need to go to Specsavers lad and take that f**king joke of a ref with you. The guy was a disgrace. Can you honestly hand on heart tell me that the out and out assault on Tollitt when it was 2-1 was not one of the clearest penalty shouts you have ever seen?

Come off it, it was a blatant dive.
Didn't look a clearcut penalty to me. Tollit ran into their box tracked by Turgott, possibly a push, maybe a clip of Tollit's heel. Haven't seen any post-match footage, only a still showing the Bromley man with his hand on Tollit's back. Not a dive and the Bromley fans who were closest to the incident feared it was a penalty.

Harsh red card, but not a clear error, so no point appealing, particularly in the light of the North Ferriby Norwood red, not rescinded, you mention.
While dropping two points today could well have screwed up our season, unsure that could be laid entirely at the door of the referee. Picking McNulty, who'd been ill pre-match and went off unwell after 20 minutes, when Micky Mellon could have started the Sutton-Ihiekwe partnership that did well at Chelmsford or at least had Sutton on the bench. An out of form Norwood missing a one-on-one to put us 3-0 up, he doesn't usually covert those at his peak.

Lincoln's title to lose now and unless Forest Green decide on a stable line-up instead of Cooper's chopping and changing, Dagenham the most likely to replace you.
I know RLC disagrees, but for me Rovers should have tried to settle for the draw at Sincil Bank, when we'd got back into the game and were arguably on top following a poor start. Made an attacking sub and ended up with nowt.

Ive been talking all season about how tollitts playacting would come back to bite him. Hes been booked twice for diving in the box and how he got away with the one against macc at our place when all he needed was a pair of trunks to complete the stupidity of it i dont know it was so bad i think the ref was so shocked he forgot too book him.

Yesterdays was a penalty imo however word is out within refereeing circles if in doubt with tollitt dont give it..... hes his own worst enemy mellon needs to get a grip of him and explain how his diving in the past may have influenced the decision yesterday.

One quick aside not one of tollitts many dives have resulted in a spotkick being awarded he needs to stop, or use it sparingly

The thing is, regardless of the Buxton and Tollitt incidents, if Cook's third goal is allowed to stand as it should have been, we are three up at half time and there is no way Bromley will get back into the game. The referee had three big decisions to make and got all of them wrong in my opinion. He had an extremely poor day.

It is also daft to start scapegoating Norwood after he played well and set up the second goal.

Agree and agree, the one thing i would note about norwood though is hes done nothing since signing his new contract

It was apparently only 15 or so out of 1000 home fans.

Some bottle throwing from your lot at the home game in August too. A warm welcome awaits your travelling supporters next season by all accounts. Unfortunately we have a large number of morons as well.

Without advocating any sort of violence this weekend from our fans, a few of our lot were attacked by Wrexham fans first game of the season

A bit harsh comparing him to a dog, I mean a one of them is something that will literally eat anything it can find and not stop eating until its stomach is ready to burst......
The other one lives in a kennel.

I thought that Cook's third goal should have stood at the time. Have since seen it suggested that it was a Cook push that sent their defender into the keeper, but not seen any footage of the incident.

Of the 3 key refereeing decisions RLC asserts to be wrong, at the moment I agree on the disallowed goal and think the other two decisions could be argued either way. Mr Evans didn't send Cook off for allegedly leading with an elbow, despite Bromley appeals and gave Buxton nearly every decision in the first half, including a generous free-kick when Adam seemed to fall over. He's taken charge of a couple of other Rovers games I've seen where contentious decisions have gone our way.

I don't think it's scapegoating to point out Norwood is not very good at one-on ones and if he had tucked the one away yesterday we'd have gone 3 up and regardless of the merits of the trio of debatable refereeing decisions, we'd have almost certainly gone on to win

He's a real class act isn't he?
Lot of pent up frustration there, is he not getting any????
Surprised he didn't use Sparrow's line that they were reffed out of it...

Some of your fans were a disgrace first game of the season. Shouting abuse and reportedly throwing bottles at the old guys and families walking back to their cars after the game.

We've got a fair few dickheads that follow us (hence the Chester bubble games) but a small section of Dover fans (literally a dozen or so) seem to be on some Green Street fantasy trip. It'll come and bite them in the arse but unfortunately itll be the normal fans who suffer.

Most of the people who post on Deva Chat think he's God's gift, but I'm not convinced. He's been given a 2-year extension to his contract on the basis of a good run October/November. Without that run we'd be down in the bottom 6 again.
