0930 would have got to Lancaster 1154 or Oxenholme for a coach
That got stuck but rtt says it’s moving again 1 3/4 hour late

Bromley have supposedly left Euston and on route to Solihull.

Not sure why the BBC gives it as PP, they got knocked out the Jammy Dodger Plate ages ago.

according to someone on our site they are due in lancaster at about 1:50pm and then there's a train just after 2pm that gets them into Barrow at 15:05

Executive coaches are about £2,500 for the day double for two days plus hotels if you stay overnight, return advanced trains tickets for 25 people much cheaper. No brainer.

It’s mental health week someone has jumped in front of train, the rest is irrelevant.

Group bookings on trains are much cheaper tbh.

Agree with John Still, our postponements pale into insignificance compared to a loss of life in such circumstances

Can't be anything other than an embarrassing and stupid mistake by Dover. Would have been on for a huge crowd and that's knackered now too.

Regularly see the Man U squad waiting at Stockport station waiting to travel to their away games, although I think it's usually the day before. Thinking about it, why aren't games such as these being overnight stays? How can Barrow v Dover be a 'travel on the day' scenario?

Even at our most skint, Barrow would shell out for overnight stays for anything over about three or four hours. Even then, we always travel on a bus - the trains are an absolute mess up this end of the country.

The main anger stems from Dover not leaving any margin for error (or misfortune). Every train would have to be on time for them to reach Barrow in time to play - that's a huge gamble, and pretty irresponsible.

Anyway, the club got as far as Crewe didn't they, I don't understand why they couldn't push kick off back by a couple of hours?
