The main anger stems from Dover not leaving any margin for error (or misfortune). Every train would have to be on time for them to reach Barrow in time to play - that's a huge gamble, and pretty irresponsible.

Anyway, the club got as far as Crewe didn't they, I don't understand why they couldn't push kick off back by a couple of hours?
If what's going round about Barrow arranging coach travel from Preston that would have allowed a 4pm kick off is true and that several Dover players turned round as they didn't want to face Barrow then Dover have at best a big fine coming....

Amazed that entire teams still take the train to games, I'd have thought it would be cheaper and easier to use a coach.

It’s not, we use a specialist company and book in advance, train is half the cost of a long coach trip

My train savvy mate has just told me the train was cancelled at Preston.
I’m sure Barrow will have other complaints but it’s not my fault & i’m not going to argue the rights & wrongs.
Time to spend the rest of the day doing something else, cheerio

Can’t see anything but a Barnet win today. Which will make in no win in 9 for us continuing our gradual slide in to mid table.

You have obviously not seen us play!

After a bright opening 15, we have been shambolic. Ponderous, sloppy and lacking any kind of creativity.

Woking deserving of their lead and in complete control.

This is awful. I knew this period of games would be tough but this is another level of struggling.

As I’ve said before - it’s so depressing watching your club slowly slip into its death, week after week.

That's definitely not true.

In other news. We smashed a youth team in the Scottish shortcake Cup

Have Chorley ever had a match that didn't finish 0-0?

Equalising in the 96th minute should be given extra points!

Got very scrappy after our second but overall pretty routine and another clean sheet at home. Still think we can improve a fair bit but can’t complain!

Notts 2-0 Torquay, great win and clean sheet against the league’s top scorers. Torquay looked decent though and will be so ok I’m sure.

As for us, really clicking into gear now, without really hitting top gear. Be disappointed not to at least make the play-offs now after this start. Although with our squad we really should, despite our summer unheaval. Still, can only beat what’s in front of you.

Good result, great to get another clean sheet. Sounds like the defence and organisation has been the biggest improvement in recent times. Another goal for Dennis and a cracker from Brindley.

Another very impressive home attendance and a superb away following from Devon.

Anybody who thought we would be anything but a bit of a mess at the start of the season was living in bananaland! We lost a pre season due to all the off field issues, and were weeks behind any club who had anywhere near a normal pre season. This seemed to be forgotten by some supporters when results were mixed and Ardley Out began. Fools

All in all, a great day for the pies. Momentum maintained

Ref gives 6 minutes added time for no apparent reason. Barnet score 90+7. Then he even gives them a couple more minutes to find a winner. Feel sick.

I’ve never heard of anything more tinpot than Dover travelling up on the day of a game for a (checks) 6 and a half hour trip!! I demand points deductions!

Superb support from Torquay today, over 600 making the trip, fair play. I thought we looked a class above though, we’re gonna piss this league.*

*We might not .

Wasn’t really much time wasting. Certainly not enough to justify that much extra time. If that was the case there would be 8 minutes in every game we’ve played this season.

Nice of your fans (the few that hadn’t left) to celebrate it like you’d won the league though.

Both sides used all of their subs, there were a couple of lengthy stoppages plus Craig Ross was time-wasting whenever he got the ball. Additionally the six minutes on the board is the minimum suggestion and the ref is free to use his discretion as to how much to time ought to be added on.
Any set of fans would be happy to see their team snatch a draw at the death from two goals down too.
Mind you, our performance wasn’t good enough, not least because our movement up front is again so ponderous and predictable.
We would have equalised with about 20 minutes left if Pavey hadn’t managed to engineer the miss of the season too.

Ahhh great to see the absolute classic football forum comment from a supporter of a team who have conceded a gut wrenching injury time goal.

Bitter. Sour. Love it.
