Currie has learnt absolutely nothing. 4 games in a row we concede from free kick/corner and still make the same mistakes. He doesn't know how to change tactics, only able to play one way. I know we haven't got a very tall striker(which we have been missing all season) so why the hell keep putting high balls into the box when only midgets are there. Currie needs to step back and let an experienced manager come in to try to get the players playing more than one way, otherwise before anyone realises, we will be in a relegation battle. Don't say we are too good to go down, because these players don't give a shit and are only playing out the stupid high contracts that Still gave them.

This is absolute rubbish. And you are talking to one of the most pessimistic Barnet fans going. We are not going down this season and appointing a new manager to replace DC would be a massive step backwards (something which BFC are very good at doing - so I wouldn’t be surprised by this).

Try coming back at me with anything but the usual shit points, all of which can be countered with:

1) He’s a young manager who will make mistakes. This season is the perfect time to make them, with a shit squad inherited from Still

2) Shit squad from Still, on stupid wages for 2 years

3) These players were offered the option to leave with a bulk payment, they turned it down. They’re here for the money, not their careers - we are therefore seeing these performances from them. It’s very hard to motivate a player who is only motivated by his paycheck (with anything other than money).

So - come back with a point worth making or otherwise join the rest of the dipshits on OnlyBarnet, Twitter or BTID.

Big big 2nd half performance, by our defence , class goal by Doe, hit the wood work as well.
Our makeshift defence could become as first choice defence on that performance, as for Yeovil, expected more, but please stop saying , we should be beating teams like Dover !!!! you weren't that special and pretty sure you would not have scored if we had played past midnight

Barnet are going down this time. They don’t have 23 games in hand.

I think it was mistimed rather than anything intentional. It looked a poor challenge though.

Mistimed? It looked like your player was late after Clarke won the ball.

Highlights might show it was a horrendous follow through though, so might be eating humble pie after the highlights.

Just watching the highlights show. Tackle looked much worse in full speed than it was when you slow it down. He got the ball but had his foot high with studs up but he lowered his leg for the follow through. Not a red card IMO.

And what is going on with that Bromley player running about 40 yards backwards with the ball then threading a perfect through ball to the Harrogate forward. Just another DODGY moment in this league.

So you agree that we have squad who are only playing for the money that was offered by Still. You agree that DC is a young manager learning his trade. But he is not learning. Same mistakes week in week out, same results. 2 wins in 12 is not good enough. But if you enjoy watching defenders that can't defend and strikers that can't strike and a manager who stands on the sidelines looking out of his depth, then enjoy watching that for the rest of the season. P.S. This forum is about opinions and yours and mine may well differ, but i don't take to being called a dipshit.

Does it matter if he takes a while to learn though? This season is finished. Not much of this squad will be here next season so we may as well dedicate this time for DC to have as much of a chance as possible. He’s passionate about the club and understands the fans + has the right footballing philosophy. Let’s give him as much as possible.

PS - I understand what an opinion is. Yours is just the same as the rest of the waffle that’s spewed by people online, who don’t want to listen to others. I didn’t call you a dipshit directly, I said you would be if you didn’t want to listen to reason. :)

This season isn't really over yet though. We are only 9 points off top with plenty of points to play for. I just think DC needs help with the direction he is taking. With an experienced person along side him(not that prick Junior Lewis) he could learn different tactics and better player management. I actually want him to succeed but think he is really struggling. The players we have are capable, but not consistent enough or interested enough.

What’s the issue with JL? I’ve heard some rumblings going around and I know there’s been some issues between him and players, but not sure of the details?

Agreed on some support for DC - but don’t think I fully trust TK to see it that way or even if he does, to bring the right person in. Mark McGhee’ll probably be his first call...

Recently an unnamed player told me that the whole squad can't stand JL. He is arrogant and thinks he is Billy big Bollocks. Tk won't spend anything he doesn't have to. At the last International Break, we called off 2 games because of call ups(4 players) Away to Fylde(cheaper to go mid-week with no stopover) and Aldershot at home(local game that they would still be well supported) this time we have 4 players called up but not called game off. Reason is probably because if we played it In January on a Tuesday night, Stockport would bring less than half of what they did. All TK does is counts the pounds coming in.

If Searle isn’t fired tonight we are going down. Clueless.

We're the kind of club that would probably fluke another reprieve. One less relegation place and maybe 2 depending on events at Macclesfield

Lewis is a rotten egg. Lots of rumours that he was hated in the dressing room when with us. He’s an awful coach too apparently. Very glad we got rid.

Yep. I wasn’t familiar with Mr Quigley’s work before yesterday, but he appears to be a colossal bellend. The sort you’d love on your side.

I've been surprised by him - he's a good finisher, will power his way past defenders and brings people into play. I wouldn't say he's a diver but he's very good at drawing the foul, if you know what I mean?

I can certainly see how much he winds up the opposition!

The Halifax red card looked dodgy to me, a foul for his follow through at worst but not a red.

The Halifax number 5 was IMMENSE all day long

Based on what I've seen, we are moving in the right direction under DC but are struggling with an over-sized and imbalanced squad - and the lack of power up front has absolutely killed us.

Unless and until that changes, we need to ride out this rough period out with DC in charge and give him an opportunity to build a team in the summer.

The constant chopping and changing of manager only leads to panic signings which means we never benefit properly from the strong financial position THL provides us with.

That is exactly what we were all saying about Notts last season. That went well.

It's what we've been saying for about 10 years! :hb:

As has been said before, this is a close division this season. We're only a couple of wins off challenging for 9th or 10th, which is about where we should finish this season based on our squad.

What on earth is that Solihull camera location all about!? Can only assume it's to do with stadium works because having it about head height in line with the 6 yard box is ridiculous.

County beat Martin Allen's Barnet 2-1 at Underhill. Jason Puncheon anonymous throughout.

Two on the bounce we've won in injury time and yet I don't think we're even a decent side at this level and we're top half.

You Conference wankers.

You’re still sore about that?!!

It was stuck on ‘lineout view’ mode. Worked a treat for one of those goals though.

Sore about what?

That is the last I remember of Barnet until we played you Saturday. Jason Puncheon playing for you at Underhill. Good player actually but didn't have him down to go as high as he did. Fair play to him.

I think you needed Hereford to drop points in your quest for automatic promotion, and for some unknown reason, our tannoy man decided to announce the Hereford score during the game (they were winning).

Excellent trolling.
