Much needed win for us. Need to follow it up with another one against Woking on Tuesday.

1-1 was a fair result imo. Both teams had chances to win, Butler pulled off a great save to deny Wrexham and Bolawrinwa had a header just pushed over as full-time approached

Massive win for Tranmere and think that Macclesfield result helps too with a perfect draw at Sutton. Chance to beat Macc on Tuesday to be 1 off top and keep the pressure on them with their game in hand. It's going to be so close at the end of the season!

That scoreline flattered Woking who were awful, we should've been 5 up before they got their first, I didn't think I'd see a defence as bad as ours but Woking take it, Richard Orlu has to be the worst footballer I think I've ever seen.

Wow. That sounded like an absolute barnstormer of a game that I'm not sure we deserved to win! But I don't care one iota about performances anymore, that is a fucking huge 3 points.
Hell of a match coming up on Tuesday. Hopefully a 6000 plus crowd.

Orient will beat Fylde. NLP headline will read “Bonne Beserk!”

“Football will be the winner” in Aldershot vs Macclesfield as a bore draw is played out.

Sutton v Wrexham will finish with four red cards and two penalties in the game.

200 fans will watch Boreham Wood Win 1-0.

Tranmere will thrash Bromley 1-0 with approximately 37 shots on goal.

About all the national league stereotypes sorted.
I got a fair amount right here..

A scrappy affair and our performance was nowhere near the levels of recent weeks. I was surprised how negative Bromley were given their goalscoring record and the game was niggly and had no flow to it whatsoever. A massive victory though and our fans played a big part this afternoon, dragging the team over the line in the second half when we were not really performing.

It is probably win or bust on Tuesday night in terms of our title chances. How will Macclesfield approach the match ? Will they play an open game or will they settle for a point knowing they have a potential seven point advantage over us ? Not sure my nerves will be able to take it.

Macclesfield beat us at the Rec again. I'm shocked!

1 win in 6 now at home, playoffs at best for us!

Well well, that was better.

Midfield four we had on the pitch today has sort of been cobbled together out of nowhere but looks a huge improvement. We’re even managing to get Dom Vose running around a bit. Mad skill from him to set up Akintunde for our third.

Great to see a feel good factor around the place today after Thursday night’s fundraiser.

Think Tuesday will decide a lot if either side wins.

We took 31 points from our final 12 last season, that’d win us the league this year.

Thought Bromley unsettled us early on and after we failed to kill the game off after being gifted the lead, they could have grabbed a lucky point with a few late chances.

Will have to do much better v Macc on Tuesday.

Nice 3 points for us today from a totally forgetable match, sets up tuesdays El Cheshicco beautifully.
Nice to see long suffering Hartlepool pick up 3 points and moneybags Chester keep their faint relegation escape hopes alive too!

You are by far the best team I've seen us play this season.

A lot of teams say that - we knock it around nicely but our inability to win games at home will cost us - 1 win in 6 at the Rec.
Fair play to you guys, thought you were a handful today and deserved your win - obviously the red card changed the game (personally didn't think it was a red) but we applied ourselves well with 10. Your two big lads up top were a pain and the one player we have to deal with them is in the changing room at 3.05.
Still a lot of points to play for, need 6 points from Bromley and Wrexham.

Much needed win away at Torquay. Can relax a bit now. Most likely we’ll be mid table but this remaining group of players is still good enough to push for top 7. Anyway, no expectations now. I just want a chaos free few months and a few good games within that time period.

Even though we played virtually the entire game with 10 men?

Yes! It seemed to even things up more than give us an advantage, after you brought Oyeleke on you bossed the midfield and your movement had us chasing shadows with no one sure who to mark and where to cover. Rowe was always in space and covered so much ground he was practically worth 2 players.

Your two big lads up top were a pain and the one player we have to deal with them is in the changing room at 3.05.

Blissett caused problems all game and is starting to show he offers what we've
lacked for so long.

Ultimately you were the better side for most of the game and always looked dangerous coming forward, however we had at least 3 clear chances to make those last moments a bit easier to watch but we've only ever been clinical in maybe 2 matches all season. Would not like to face you in the playoffs!

He wasn’t in our squad today. Apparently he was watching Orient up at Fylde. He doesn’t want to commute far (hence he turned down Sutton). I imagine he’ll sign for them

Commentary said that our players celebrated as if we'd guaranteed survival. Obviously that's far from the case, being just two points above the drop, but we've got to be confident in overtaking Halifax and possibly Hartlepool. Tuesday's game at home to Gateshead will be massive in either breaking our poor run of home results or confirming the revival is just a flash in the pan.

That was our best win of the season against a dog shit of an Eastleigh team. It's probably a bit too late, but that was the best we've played in 15 months. The midfield of Mahon, Crawford, Roberts and Vose was superb. A good portion of the dross McCarthy signed have been shipped out. Even Halls had a excellent game today. Can't wait for Tuesday. Cresswell should have been sent off twice, that's how poor the referee was.

Boreham Wood are winning too many matches and slowing creeping up under the radar. The thought of that horrible club in the FL sends a shiver down my spine.

Great win for Pools today too. Looks FC Halifax are coming back down to the North then.

Andrew Miller the ref, absolute whopper, one of the worst I've seen.

Funny how you can go far and wide looking for players and we end up with two Blacon lads in the heart of the midfield. Completely bossed it as well.

Sorry but I don't classify any wins at this level 'great' especially against such woeful opposition like we had today and in fact for most of the season, just we're so horribly mismanaged on and off the pitch and that's what's sad.

3 points makes no difference to us, still going down.

Lost 1 nil at home against Leyton Orient. Our first league defeat at home since September. I was impressed with Leyton Orient again. Wasn’t much in the game but thought they edged it. We barely tested their keeper, which isn’t like us and shows how well they defended. That Bonne looks a good player for them. I think we’ll probably just miss out on the play offs. We’re certainly not good enough to go up. I think they’ll be right up there next season as well
It was a very, very tight game. We went with a gameplan to frustrate you more than anything and apart from the final few minutes when the inevitable onslaught comes, we did it well and should've got a second on the break on more than one occassion.

To go in 1-0 up was a huge bonus, because our gameplan was to keep it tight for as long as possible and there were literally no clear chances for the whole half. We showed you alot of respect with the way we setup, we had to because in recent weeks we've made too many errors at the back.

Not one of Fyldes best days, but I admired the way they played, although it was a bit predictable by the end, but maybe going full time would give them that extra edge for next season.

That would suprise me a bit, because that would leave us with 5 strikers, as we already have:

Macauley Bonne
Matt Harrold
Dan Holman
David Mooney

However, I would be very suprised if Bonne is still with us come August next season, because he deserves a move to the league again and has been our player of the season. Cheek would be a very good player to have should he sign for us at this level, it would almost certainly be a signing looking towards next season. We haven't even put Sam Ling on the bench yet FFS because our squad is so big.

Mind you, David Mooney has been crap for us this season, so we could be looking to offload him..................
