I wonder if league leaders have ever gone into a game this far into the season at 3/1 as Macclesfield are tomorrow. Cold hard statistics do point to us making it 10 wins in a row at home but football doesn’t always work like that.
If any team can stop our home run, Macclesfield can. This game has so much riding on it, at least for us. If Macc lose it's not the end of the world for them. If we lose, I think the title is one step too far.

Disagree on the third goal, your keeper totally flapped at it and was nowhere near the ball, Oates just flicked it over his head.

Makes a change to see us stick to boot in yesterday, we normally let teams walk all over us, the inclusion of Luke George added some much needed needle to the game.

I’m sure yesterday was just an off day for Woking, that Grego Cox looks like a great player, was just lacking any sort of support yesterday.

George made a huge difference, just hope we can keep him fit the the rest of the season.
How he didn't even get booked was beyond me,but who cares, its about time we got nasty.
Hope we keep it going, especially against those dirty cheating twats Sutton.

Think it's cause he's pulling him back (as a result of falling over) so not an attempt to get the ball. He probably should've been booked after 15 seconds anyway!

Pilks arm is definitely up for the handball, would've thought he'd be experienced enough to not do that in the box.

And thats what I expect the referee/FA would say if we appealed. Think its unlucky he was sent off and I dont think he should have been, but i've seem worse decisions this season

We're 2 from 2 in games involving 1st v 2nd this season.....

Nah home win I think tomorrow, can see us getting chances but not taking them.

Got my ticket though so, any tips on parking?

If you’re coming from the motorway, turn right at the halfway house pub. When you get to the traffic lights where turning left takes you to Prenton Park, instead turn right. There’s a series of other little roads off that where you can park. 5 min walk to the ground.

Saw something last night which suggested several Orient players are on £1.500 plus bonuses. Their turnover is a lot lower than ours, are they being bankrolled or is that another bubble waiting to burst?

Bankrolled to a degree. Our budget is top 3 (but then again, so are our crowds). The owners are prepared to take a loss at no risk to the club itself (i.e. like Hearn used to do). Zero chance of us going pop.

Leyton Orients pen against us looked outside the box from watching the highlights. Hard to tell from where i sit. Not that it matters really, they deserved to win
It also looked like a nailed on red card but he got away without even a yellow!

If you arrive early enough, you can even park on Borough Road. Once that's full, there are residential streets 5 minutes walk away (the immediate local ones are residents only). Or splash out a fiver, and park in the big club car park for ultimate convenience.

I'm a Chiltern Road man. The wooded side is unrestricted, and never fills up completely. You can reliably tell how big the crowd will be from the number of cars parked up on that side of the road!

I'll be honest, i'm now a little uncomfortable with the amount of offers from strangers to park in unknown to me areas of Birkenhead.

Don 't be such a drama queen.
There's no chance you'll go down unless you get a points deduction.

I wouldn't count on that. Solihull are a better side than us. Besides, admin is more likely than not.

Our new owners have put some money in, plus we do have the crowds to justify those salaries as well as parachute payments and 4k Season tickets sold for this season.

Its better than paying the likes of Darius Henderson and Andrea Dossena around £8k per week like the previous owners.........sorry, morons did.

However, it will all look a bit stupid in the National League South next season.................

Was it you lot that had a goal disallowed last season when your player ran onto a clear back-pass and got flagged offside?

Haha yep against Braintree. The ref couldn’t even see it with their bright orange kit. Would have gone in to HT 3-1 up and ended up losing 3-2. Genuinely the worst decision I’ve ever seen at a live game.
