I imagine this will be our best streaming numbers of the season, should be a big (online) home turn out plus a decent Chessie one. £12 but a very good stream - has the radio Nottingham commentary and summariser (usually Mark Stallard), plus multiple angle replays

Looking forward to it - usually go to the Notts vs Us games with my Notts supporting mate and out in Nottingham afterwards - shame to be missing that today but looking forward to what will hopefully be a decent game of football. Don't mind paying £12 for a decent stream after paying £10 for Yeovil's absolute shite.

Hope to god that’s the last isolation period we have to endure as a squad...
You should be ok now I think, your players have all had their jabs now by putting these on:

So it’s a debut for Grant Smith in goal and Adi Yussuf starts on the bench with Dinanga preferred today who I’m still not completely sold on but he does work his socks off to be fair to him...

Very much a workmanlike side that one so I expect us to try and make use of set pieces etc and to try and maintain a solid shape throughout

The old guys on the Aldershot TV thing are talking down their chances and pointing out how their back 4 is makeshift. Which means they are going to beat us.

We’ve got five first-choice players out today but team still looks quite strong. Rusk out bandwagon will be at full steam if we don’t win.

We have given Big Eli Sam a rare start, which was unexpected. Our man from the Bulgarian Premier, limbs flailing everywhere.

Should've scored by now. 1-0 Aldershot this.

Clash of styles ain’t it, Ches not letting us just merrily pass the ball around - we never cope well with teams who take this approach.

Aldershot should be relegated for the state of their pitch.

Weve been easily the better side, but we have Christian Dibble in goal.

And finally our pressure tells as we go 1-0 up! Gavin Gunning, dare I say keeper might do better?

Really poor keeping for me, pretty much gone into the middle of the goal. Deserved either way, though.

Question is whether you can keep the pressing intensity up all game. We’re having a sulk currently because we can’t take 47 passes to get it to the edge of your box completely unchallenged.

The guys doing the Hartlepool commemtary on the stream are hilarious. They don't have a clue. Keep contradicting themselves and may have a heart attack before the end of the game.

The guy doing the commentary is a prize spanner. Best just to mute it.

I think it’s also partly due to fact he’s a centre half playing in midfield on a huge pitch, his lack of pace is evident and he’s been done a couple of times

But he scored, so I ain’t gonna be too critical!

Totally deserved HT lead for Chesterfield, haven’t let us settle at all and we’re probably happy to go in just 1 down. Have to be better 2nd half

We’ve defended really well, not given up any clear chances really and conceded from a cross/goalkeeping error, but everything else has been absolutely hopeless.

Chesterfield have been great. Hard to see how the second half can be quite as one sided as that, but we could/should learn a lot from their positive approach.

HT Notts 0-1 CFC

Our most dominant first half away performance of the season so far, outstanding really. We’ve nullified notts very clear strength of possession football so far and the game has mainly been played in notts defensive third..

If I was gonna be a little bit critical, it would be that our delivery into box hasn’t been great today.. always seemed to found a notts head (other than our goal of course). I think dinanga and Asante have caused big problems and been really impressed with them so far!

Notts surely gonna come out and put some pressure on us second half so we need to stay strong and try counter where we can

My worry is we’ve ran ourselves into the ground with the high intensity pressing game we’ve been playing under Rowe. After 2 weeks off we could be shattered after 60 mins.
Good first half though, just disappointing we aren’t further ahead
