I thought Jacob's post about Neal was about Neal Smith at first. I've got no idea how Bromley are bottling the top 7 in this awful league with that starting line up. They should be pushing for the title, let alone clinging on to top 10. He's very lucky to still have a job.

Relegation battle looks interesting. We're a top half team with all our players back and under Mcmahon instead of Taylor. Some tough away games to come so we'll not out of the woods yet. I still think when it comes down to it that Maidenhead, Aldershot and possibly Eastleigh will be battling for that 21st position. Whether it matters or not is irrelevant, until it is confirmed that it's only 3 down you can't take anything for granted.

3rd best for most of the first half there. But then some magic from Beautyman has given me hope

Sutton have been dreadful for 48 mins, and just got themselves back in it. Another game where we could conceivably have had five at half-time.

not sure about the offside on the Angus header either - looked inline to me.
Annoyed about the Beautyman goal - it was well taken - but the ref should have already blown for ht about 10 seconds earlier - but i'll take the lead even though it could and should be more.

So sacking your manager does sometimes work....

We do it 3 times a year and it doesn’t always work. Only this time I think it has. Challinor is a big step up from Hignett.

This is easily Featherstone's best season in a Pools shirt by a mile, absolute class. Notts barely had a kick in that game, the centre backs have made all the difference for me, they can pass and are comfortable with the ball at their feet and not afraid to run forward with, the total opposite of Kerr and Raynes.

As for Challinor, what a difference it makes having a manager who know's what he's doing, if we're still in touch after the Boreham Wood and Solihull double then I'm all aboard the playoff express.

I’m not going all in yet but if we can get 4 points off them 2 then I’m officially buzzing for it.

I don’t like to speak negatively against a Brother but you were shite, we controlled the game from start to finish, easily the worst side I’ve seen against us this season.

Do you fancy managing us, you couldn’t do any worse than the current idiot.

The key word is ‘minimum’ when they announce additional time at the end of the half. Play was stopped a few times in additional time

true - but 9/10 refs blow up bang on the time anyway...

The BBC are showing it as four relegation places - if that's the case, it's going to take a helluva points to stay up the way things are going, could be as much as 55-56.

The BBC are wrong.

Aldershot (and Boreham Wood, apparently )
Surprised, but delighted with win at Maidenhead.Pitch better than expected, not bad for passing football. Bit of daylight now between Shots and drop zone. Boreham Wood at home Tuesday, would love to win that one, but they are my tip for promotion. Anyway, onwards and upwards.

Devonshire's obsession with trying to shoehorn as many defenders as he can into the starting XI backfired with one of the worst defensive performances we've put in for a long time. We had six today and the two at centre mid had a torrid time.

Hopefully that's the trigger for us to sign an actual central midfielder, which Devonshire really doesn't like doing for some reason.

Comfortable win for you guys, but I think most of the NL South would have been ahead against us at HT after that first half performance!

All the credit Jim Bentley built up over years and years at Morecambe seems to be drying up fast.

Big win for us and a very good second half but my god Ebbsfleet were awful. Truly awful. 4 minutes on the clock when they first started wasting time and it continues pretty much up until we scored. When we did and they actually had to do something they looked a better side, but coming for a 0-0 was never likely to pay off.

Be glad if they go down

Been trying to think for ages who Ian Evatt looks like. It's this guy.

Bossed our game against Halifax, just let down by the final ball. Then in injury time we clear one off the line and they hit the bar! Would have been a travesty if they got anything from the match. Decent turn out from their fans though

Seems maybe the "mini boot camp" our players had during the 3 weeks since we last played has paid off. We looked close to the decent side we were up until the wheels came off in November.

Would have taken that prior to kickoff. After 40 minutes I would have taken not losing 5-0. Goals change games and Beautyman’s just before halftime changed everything. Gave us belief and we looked a different team at halftime. Worked very hard and used the ball intelligently. David Ajiboye looks better by the week. Happy with that and I’m more confident we’ll be here next season

On TV, the wind looked like it played a huge part - we dominated first half, second half we couldn't string two passes together. Beautyman was the star man, but that dive for the penalty was horrendous.

I expected a draw, so not a terrible result, and only Harrogate around us put points on the board, but it felt like a defeat the way that game turned.

If only we could of had a striker from the start of the season.... Bees starting to sneak up. 3 points at Chorley helped with those around us fluffing their lines.

Stockport County.
Is it true that Hartlepool and Dagenham are the two biggest spenders in this division?

Just shows you that money isn't everything.

Dive for the penalty? Seriously? Just watching the highlights the Barrow defender clearly clips the attackers feet. Clear as day a penalty
