So long as Orient beat the evil and win the league, all will be well in the world.

The scum will bid about £1m for Bonne in January, bet you anything.

Well that was a no-lube dildoing in the second half. Cannot see Braintree finishing anywhere other than dead last. Quinton has worked miracles to even get them in this division with that side.

I'm yet to recover from the STIGMA of letting Braintree equalise in the 94th minute against us despite pegging them the whole game.

Bates said it might prove to be a useful point whilst looking like he wanted to jump in front of a train

Difference between you and us and why we'll only be fighting for 4th to 7th at most, not clinical enough.

Well what an awful game that was. Barely any quality at all and both teams were pretty poor. Having said that we finally got aided by a referee decision as from where I stood, Fylde’s shot that bounced off the underside of the bar definitely went over the line.
From where the linesman was, which was bang in line, it didn't, so there's that. :dis:

We were on the end of a Salford hiding, they hit the woodwork twice also, so could've been a lot worse, not too disappointed, away to Salford is probably the most difficult fixture in this league and I can't see many teams taking points off them.

Just gotta set things straight at home to Aldershot on Saturday.

Getting hammered by them is not what a Brother does. You should have at least gone down fighting, red cards, trash their ground, egg Gary Neville, the lot. I can't wait until we play them twice at Christmas.

Haha I’m sure it was soup. First rule of taking the piss. Make sure you make no mistakes in doing so

Listen pal, I graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University, I'll have you know. We don't make no mistakes like that. I went to school. :hypo:

We seemingly had a tear up outside the ground if that counts? :dk:

Yeah, we’ve certainly been clinical recently. Had a couple of games (at Gateshead and Halifax) where we dicked the oppo for 90 minutes and relied on last-gasp equalisers to take anything from the game, but we’ve found our shooting boots. Looking good for a top 3 finish at the moment, but I strongly suspect the $alford money machine will overtake us at some point.

Bags of effort on show tonight and 3 much needed points. Wasn’t expecting anything having not won away before tonight and the drubbing in Saturday.
Let’s see what happens from here.

I see that Richard Brindley made his debut for you tonight, what do you reckon of him?
As things stand I’d rather have him than Cheye Alexander as our right-back/right wing-back.

A strange experience at Braintree this evening, with virtually the whole crowd being Orient fans.

The pitch there still isn't great and they've narrowed it as well, the game itself wasn't spectacular depsite the 5-1 scoreline. Braintree's players efforts could not be faulted, but their backline was useless and struggled against Bonne and Koromas pace and trickery. They were also woeful at defending long throws. I've not seen a backline with such a poor offside trap for a while as well.

We was clinical, we punished some pretty awful errors and were worthy winners. We took our foot off the case for the final 20 as Braintree played for set plays, with the game out of reach.

Braintree will finish bottom, no doubt about it - They're simply punching too far above their weight and have very little in terms of any talent for this level.

Finally the crowd was listed as 2,574 - With 1,334 as the "official" away figure through the away turnstyles. Believe me when I say I don't think Braintree even had 350, when they scored the whole ground went quiet apart from around 20 people going mental behind the opposite goal. More noise from their players goading our fans!

He was decent tonight, didn’t look that sharp but I guess he’s not been playing much. Positionally sound and dealt with what was thrown at him.
He’s a massive improvement and a much needed improvement on Tobi Adebato-Rowling.

Mike Fondop-Talom will never score again.

Someone's put a curse on the lad. Deserved to win that with ease tonight, we had far more chances and MFT missed 2 absolute sitters. One from inside the 6 yard box. Scenes.

I believe he was last spotted in William Hills cashing out his £50 bet on Chesterfield to win the league at 10/1, picking up 65p for it.

I reckon his exclamation key is broken and he can’t work out how to post about Chesterfield without it.

‘We were okay today, we scored one! Weston and Nelson just need to get used to Allen’s tactics! We have another game up soon! Bet we’ll score again soon! We’re The biggest team down here! Back where we belong soon!’

The last thing Chesterfield needed last night was a Alan Devonshire side rocking up. He seemed to have a good record against the bigger sides in the division in his Braintree days.

Tbh the last thing they need is the meek manner in which they’re accepting the rack and ruin of the club at board level. I know the difficulty because of the way that fan bases naturally divide into militant and appeasement approaches (just look at the B******i apologist faction at Orient or the mushrooms at Blackpool), but there doesn’t seem to be any organisation or fight about the Chesterfield fans. Have they even got a Supporters’ Trust?

Maidenhead fielded a makeshift back line yesterday, which became even more makeshift after Massey went off on 16 minutes. Two goals scored by a winger who has barely played this season, and a second choice front two starting the game as well.

Allen's game management and scouting must be shocking to have not taken advantage of that. I feared for us when I saw the starting XI but we pulled it off. Factoring everything in its a great win, but an utter shocker for Chesterfield on paper let alone given the Maidenhead line up.

It's a weird time at Barrow - really enjoying every game and the football we're playing, but we're no better off than where we were playing Cox hoofball. Pretty much every opposition manager has praised our passing football, but they'll also notice that our defence capitulates whenever we're pressed.
Considering we were firm favourites for the drop, signing players from Ashton and Colwyn Bay, we're not far off being a play-off contender. And I believe some of our teenage loanees are set for big things.

Seen every home game and we should have won all of them comfortably - last night no exception, with Gateshead only really mounting two attacks and scoring from both. They defended well though when the pressure was on towards the end.
Need our three injured centre backs to return ASAP.

Tajbakhsh 2nd red card in his 4 games.
Then Tim Schmoll who is known to be rubbish scores 2-2
can we hold out :pond:

Good to see he still has no discipline whatsoever. He was with us on loan a couple of years ago and was sent off 3 times in his 2 month loan spell (2 were rescinded tbf).
