Not sure how true it is, but our board will consider Davis's position when we lose this from what I've heard. A win/draw will delay the inevitable.

After our last owner sacked managers left, right and centre it looks like our two new ones want to give managers lots of time.

Sadly the one we hired, which I admit myself I was happy enough with is a fucking idiot.

I look forward to my first visit to Wrexham since January 2006 which was my 21st birthday.

Davis out.

Not a good fixture for us Maidstone. They beat us twice last season for a aggregate of 7-3. Our win against Barrow (dirty, time-wasting bastards) might have been a turning point. Bignot is certainly making us better, but we need to put some tackles in at the Gallagher. Last season we just stood by and let them go 4-0 up after about 30 minutes.

Would normally have looked forward to playing Aldershot again (who whinge nearly as much as the Chester fans), but no idea what sort of side we'll put out, what formation/tactics, or even who's going to be the manager. It's hinted that we'll have a new player in time for the game too, so if it's Pennock, it'll be one of his ex-Forest Green players.
I will guess at another 3-2 defeat.

Potential banana skin imo. We're expected to win but Chester have shown improvements under Bignot and our home form has been slipping recently. I'll be happy to escape this one unscathed.

Could we actually be heading for our third win of the season? After Tuesday's showing at Stonebridge Road I'd hazard a guess at yes. Hartlepools are on a good run at the moment, but then again, so are we so should be a decent game (yes, 'Torquay' and 'decent' didn't really fit a few weeks back). 2-1 home win and a climb up the table to mediocrity..... I'll take that this season!

I'm not so confident about tomorrow, although we're unbeaten in 12 now (I think?) we aren't really playing with any sort of swagger or skill, we seemed to of stumbled upon wins and thrown away leads stupidly to only draw.

We don't have a striker with any sort of experience so goals are at a minimum, our most talented footballer Deverdics is stuck at left back still, despite having a fit left back on the bench to most peoples bemusement.

1-0 either way.

Historically we always beat Ebbsfleet at home, we're on a 7 match unbeaten run and Ebbsfleet lost to Torquay midweek. Plus we're now the bookies favourites for the title. All points to an afternoon of struggle for Sutton

Btw Joe, tomorrow is segregated

The fate of the National League rests in the hands of Woking to once and for all punish full-time Guiseley AND Mowgli for WHAT THEY DID.

1-0 either way.

The most bemusing part for me is the amount of people advocating Deverdics remaining at LB and keeping Hawkins/Woods in midfield.

I think this is actually the first game in a while I've been confident in. A team in form, sounding quite attacking, wing backs who push up. It suits our defensive style. Hopefully contain them for half an hour before stepping things up and taking control.

I have a feeling that with Rodney's suspension, it may be the start of Deverdics being pushed on. Unfortunately on the wing rather than central. Suspect Franks will switch to the right with Deverdics pushing up on the left and Adams at LB.

1-0 either way is about right

1-1 draw with a late Guiseley equaliser from a corner. Limbrick to come out after the game and use Garry Hill's excuse "well you're being a bit 'arsh there John. If they've got free or four players in respect of being 6 foot 4 you can't get a stepladder out can you?"

Home form hasn't been great, and we generally don't do very well when we're seen as favourites in a game. Probably end in a draw.

I hope you stay up. I'm confident we can now and I'd really miss my stay-overs on the English Riviera if you went down..

Someone needs to ask Limbrick if we're spending the extra training sessions defending set pieces. It went down well with Garry Hill after Welling that time.

Rovers v Halifax, will the visitor's having all their regulars back be trumped by Rovers new winger(s)? Probably a draw.

Haven't looked forward to a Moors game as much as this for a while. Probably a lot of misplaced optimism after the Eastleigh victory but I'm quietly confident.

Whatever the result I can guarantee it won't be pretty to watch.

Let me put you right on a point of order- Real football clubs are NOT to be regarded as "banana skins" by the Tin Potters. It is YOU who are the banana skins,(as admittedly, we found out last Tuesday but enough about that). :bdick:

Just scored after 42 seconds with the softest goal I've ever seen us score. Orient didn't even bother attempting to stop it at any point.

Eastleighs starting back four must have a combined height of 30 ft. Cresswells gone off injured, it's now up to 38ft after the sub.

Orient playing out of their skins, so obvious that they would.
