You've just got to lose the manager, quick. It's a long enough road back to the FL from this level, nevermind the one below
Not sure anyone can change the tide. Problems are at the top, Brown isn’t helping but we are proper fucked with or without him

You’re entering the next stage of ‘proud ex League clubs Non League journey’, you’ve done the excitement at potentially winning every game stage, just got through the ‘this is going to be tough’ stage and now you’re at the ‘apathy’ stage which I’ll warn you now is the longest and most painful part.

Next up is the ‘we’ve won 2 in a row we’ll sneak the play-offs I reckon’ stage but it’s a long way off yet.

Spoiler Alert - you don’t end up making the play-offs, you lose at Maidenhead next game instead

You joke about it being Grimsby's title to lose but it probably is! The only real form team at the moment....

Probably a fair result, poor game in the pouring rain and we could have nicked it at the end.

You have to question how long until Barnet just decide to knock it on the head though. Every year we come the home crowd drops a few hundred - just what’s the point

We’ve just come off the back of drawing to Maidenhead and drawing to Bromley, we’re hardly on form.

We look very good but we’ve a long way to go yet

We’d only picked up 1 point from our last 2 games before today, although our home form is outstanding.

Yet you are still top. So that pretty much says everything about everyone else's form! :)

Barnet keeper with an absolute worldy in stoppage time! Still, a point on the road is a point won. :ds:

Got to give Molelsley credit for salvaging an A-A draw from 2 down at half time ;)

On a serious note we've had torrential rain all day and its just one of those things. The pitch didn't look bad, just too wet. The referee did his best to get the game on but it clearly wasn't playable.

Wrexham players desperation to clear the water actually made things worse rather than better. Also they didn't realise that the whole north side was unplayable rather than the one area they were trying to clear.

4-1 loss at home is an absolute stinker. Atleast we had the excuse of being away.. :dk:

Crowd was better than I had expected.

Also noticed couple of injuries to important players for Wrexham ahead of our game Tuesday and for nothing after the abandonment

How’s your luck, that’s a stinker of an afternoon

Probably the right decision, not worth carrying on the game when the conditions were endangering life.

Safe journey back Wrexham fans, see you in a few weeks.
I'm not bitter or anything, but I no longer hope Aldershot stay up! :D

Form team? It's one win in three

Plus we have Altrincham next who will be above us when they win their games in hand!

Bizarre game. Probably the best we’ve played since the opening day for 70 minutes, then we conceded a nothing goal from a second ball in the box and absolutely self-destructed to the point it was just funny. A bit unlucky with having our two big centre backs injured against a team so good at set pieces, but still.

Bit of pressure after this week, though. We need to find some pragmatism - without the ball we are absolutely hopeless.

WE DIDN’T LOSE AT HOME! First time since April!
Shots are s̶t̶i̶l̶l̶ ̶s̶h̶i̶t̶ improving.
Big test Tuesday, away at Dover. Two quality teams in a football fiesta.

Credit Altrincham. Goal against the run of play first half and we then battered them for 40 minutes as they sat in.

2nd half, they pushed up and battered us in return. Caught us cold with the change in mentality and they’d hit the post twice before scoring.

A good side.

We've been fixtured and weathered out of things all season. We're not going up.
You're like us, D minus, you'll ALWAYS find a way to fuck it up. It's in your DNA and it's what you do. Like us. :ds:
