Wrexham are such an attraction that even torrential rain shows up to watch them now

Bizarre game. Probably the best we’ve played since the opening day for 70 minutes, then we conceded a nothing goal from a second ball in the box and absolutely self-destructed to the point it was just funny. A bit unlucky with having our two big centre backs injured against a team so good at set pieces, but still.

Bit of pressure after this week, though. We need to find some pragmatism - without the ball we are absolutely hopeless.
Oh dear..... see you Tuesday :ds: :woot::bdick:

Bloody hell wish i’d stuck a couple of quid on that 8-0 at 500/1 as its looking possible, bloody typical I’ve missed the game today as I’m ill but my lads loving it, getting a text every few minutes with another goal update.

Dover are monkey jism just like Grimsby. Do you want a scrap or not?

What does he expect the ref to do when the pitch is clearly not playable?

Exactly, there’s a video doing the rounds on Twitter of the ref rolling the ball and it stops pretty much instantly. No chance it should have continued, glad it got called off before someone got seriously injured.
Having said that, our FA Cup game against Bradford a few years back was worse than that and we played the full 90, looking back that was farcical and should never have been allowed.

Our main defender went off on a stretcher, lol.

Where’s the county fans at??

4-1 loss at home is an absolute stinker. Atleast we had the excuse of being away.. :dk:
Just back from the pub mate. We're the new Wrexham, we'll be here for years and years.
We've got owners who believe in the system a manager who believes in the system and a lightweight team with a soft centre.
Fair play Woking, pretty limited but entirely effective and utterly clinical when their chances came.

nothing funny about today Jacob, as you say we played probably our best first half of the season and got a tonking by full time.
We'll end up replacing the manager by mid November if we don't shape up. First two teams in the top half of the table we've played and we've lost both.
I'm off to Halifax on Tuesday and I'm expecting us to get bullied into a defeat.

Probably a fair result, poor game in the pouring rain and we could have nicked it at the end.

You have to question how long until Barnet just decide to knock it on the head though. Every year we come the home crowd drops a few hundred - just what’s the point
I actually thought both teams did the best they could in those conditions and it was far from a poor match.
Also, the crowd today was higher than it was for the equivalent fixture in 18/19 and 19/20 (and 20/21!).
Great double save by our keeper at the end and Halifax look a decent side.

Crowd was better than I had expected.

Two unbeaten. We’re going to pi$$ this tinpot league.

Just seen it was 1300, so I take it all back. It looked less there than I’d seen it on a Tuesday with 900 in!

Must have been packed in the legends(?) as opposed to thin in there and then a few on the terrace

Christ the Wrexham reaction to this has been embarrassing, we all get pissed off when games are postponed but they’ve taken it to another level
Give us a day to froth, we were cruising this one before it got called up. If you don't understand why we're pissed off then I worry for you.

Guess you're just trolling though, as per and here I am biting.

There’s a difference between fuming (who wouldn’t be) and claiming some kind of conspiracy.

I dislike Aldershot as much as anyone but what did you want them to do? Make it stop raining? It’s the ref who calls off the game - why would he do so without good reason?

RATTLED top 3:

3. Chesterfield by Aldershots toilets.
2. Grimsby by Bromley.
1. Wrexham by Aldershots drainage.

Wrexham by Aldershot’s drainage goes just ahead of ‘Danny Crowley by WHAT GUISELEY DID’ in the all time rattled list.

Still at number 5 is ‘Kenny End by forum members not picking Andre Gray in the TFF team of the season’

Think the reaction is more to do with the lack of effort from the Aldershot ground staff to attempt to sort the pitch at half time and during the 10mins the ref gave for the rain to ease. Frustrating as it is, it was the correct decision to call it off
2 big injuries before Tuesday as well with Tozer and Young. Haven't had a full squad for a game yet
