Credit Altrincham. Goal against the run of play first half and we then battered them for 40 minutes as they sat in.

2nd half, they pushed up and battered us in return. Caught us cold with the change in mentality and they’d hit the post twice before scoring.

A good side.
I had a feeling we might do well today,... but I dont know how with our LB injury curse continuing. We have 4 and they are now all injured. Would have been happy with a draw. But attack is best form of defence, especially for us, at present we are creating chances for fun. Sounds like it was great game to watch

Stockport County.
Rusk got away with another one again today by the sounds of things. Live to fight another day probably, papering over the cracks IMO.

Said during the week about Notts County, they've low key had a poor start when you look at opponents. It's Ian Rusk and Simon Burchnall IMO. I think both County's would be well shot in my view.

Well it's a point on the road. Sounds like conditions down south today have been awful so it's not a bad point. I'm dissapointed not to win as they've shipped goals for fun this season. However that's 5 unbeaten. 2 home games to come. We are missing a few players at the minute. Bring on Notts County at home on Tuesday. I hope they bring a few

To be fair yes we shipped goals at start of season....but Harry Kewell was useless. DB in charge has transformed the team. I thought we went toe to toe with Halifax today. Yes you created some good chances, but we also did. As a nil nil it was end to end stuff.

Wasn't at the game so can't comment on the performance of either side. What I can say is we lose games like that in previous seasons. Abit more steel about us this season compared to the past. A point each in atrocious conditions. Take that and move on.

Why are these blokes stood filming a TV?

That's what people do these days, can't go anywhere without everyone filming stuff on phones.
Bloke could be dying in the road after being hit by a car and first thing people do is take out a phone and film it

Probably a fair result, poor game in the pouring rain and we could have nicked it at the end.

You have to question how long until Barnet just decide to knock it on the head though. Every year we come the home crowd drops a few hundred - just what’s the point

It won't be knocked on the head. The chairman will never let it die and the Hive is a cash cow. The attendances probably won't get better though.

Football players could be mopping the field and all people do is take out a phone and film it. Disgusting.

A dire Maidenhead performance today. Kings Lynn's fans booed their team off at half time, then they came back and got the win. We folded under some very mild pressure from KL, who were mostly happy to let us have the ball knowing that our hoofing into the box was largely pretty easy to deal with.

Serious questions to be asked about Devonshire's awful retained and released list calls and very poor summer signings.

Wrexham will never forget Aldershot and groundsman slaphead for WHAT THEY DID.

All joking aside though, there's new filtering through that Wrexham's first goal was yet another free-flowing TEAM goal.

Top of the league and we don't have a proper #9. It's time to crank up our Grimsby shit up to "UNBEARABLE".

We created by far the better chances, Billy Waters could easily have got 4 today, one blocked on the line, one blazed over, three saved point blank by the keeper, including a worldy and the follow up at the death. You didn't create anything as clear cut as any of those chances. Still, we'll take a point on the road. :ds:

So, so glad I went to that game today and it's nothing to do with the football on the pitch. I see the short video posted previously, there is a longer one kicking about somewhere of the whole thing, start to finish, which I will get to in a bit.

Firstly the football. Hideous game played in hideous conditions I was under cover yet still got soaked. We offered sweet FA, Solihull little more but unlike us were actually willing to get a cross in the box and have a shot.
Our only positives - Steve Arnold in goal, fast becoming player of the season, mainly for keeping the score down in games. Quite easily Phil Brown's best signing.
Charlie Sayers - 17 year old playing left back, should keep his place, was composed and didn't look out of place, our best defender.
Louis Walsh and Kimpioka, the only two for us who got the ball and tried to make something, anything happen, inexplicably both subbed 2nd half.
Phil Brown should be sacked, will he be? Who cares, it doesn't matter who comes in, our problems run way, way deeper than who is trying to manage this shambles of a football club.

Now onto the actual entertainment. First half someone spotted Ron Martin up in one of those 'boxes' on that two tiered stand to the right of the terrace behind the goal. Nobody believed him but he had a photo, so said, really, there he is, look.
Up to this point it was a strange atmosphere, no singing, no chanting, we were all just chatting amongst ourselves, even the wanna be rude boyz with the big drum were just going back and forth from the bar. Then the 'Martin Out' and 'Martin's a wanker' chants start.
2nd half and there's Ron, sitting in plain sight, so all the chants from the away end and not just a few voices, the entire away end, are anti-Ron.
All of a sudden, someone shouts - he's coming down those stairs and there he was, bowling into the away terrace, with 4 coppers trying to stop him!
When I saw him I thought, maybe he's come to talk, say something, anything, to placate the mob. But no, he just stood there, glaring and sneering at people, at one point making a 'come on' gesture at as. This was the point the coppers had seen enough and ushered him away. As he passed the bloke next to me threw his burger/hot dog (whatever he had) at him and told him to 'fucking do one', sadly it missed. He got the Ron glare.
Now for the highlight, he went back up the stairs from whence he came, but Ron had gone out a fire door and couldn't get back in. There he stood, in the rain, whilst the supporters of the club he owns all chanted in unison 'WANKER WANKER WANKER'.

Forget Southend United's on field problems, we are a dying club, it feels terminal and today just added to it. I want it over with to be honest, just put us out of our misery so we can move on.

My first visit to the Hive since before to the pandemic started.

Apart from the ridiculous prices, I saw a lot of positives. Genuine effort to get kids involved and a good vibe in the main stand.

Team did the fans proud as well, could've gone either way but a draw was a fair result

Think the reaction is more to do with the lack of effort from the Aldershot ground staff to attempt to sort the pitch at half time and during the 10mins the ref gave for the rain to ease. Frustrating as it is, it was the correct decision to call it off
2 big injuries before Tuesday as well with Tozer and Young. Haven't had a full squad for a game yet
All of Aldershots match day ground staff are volunteers, and apparently only two were available today. But I can’t get over the irony of the whinging from a team who have already decided to rip there pitch up because it’s not fit for purpose.

There’s a difference between fuming (who wouldn’t be) and claiming some kind of conspiracy.

I dislike Aldershot as much as anyone but what did you want them to do? Make it stop raining? It’s the ref who calls off the game - why would he do so without good reason?
Yes, they should have made it stop raining.

We've done it to avoid what happened at your ground from happening at ours. I'm not sure where the irony is.

Today only happened because of the sheer amount of water that fell on the pitch in such a short time, nothing to do with the quality of the pitch, which is still the state of the art fibresand pitch Chelsea put down a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, sometimes these things happen and we can’t odds the weather gods. You wouldn’t have been whining if you’d showed your usual form at our place and been 2-0 down.

Haven't Wrexham thrown away leads in the majority of their away games so far anyway? Will probably work out in their favour this.

Yeah I could see from the East Bank it was surface water rather than a boggy pitch, absolutely nothing that the ground staff can do about that and from what I saw all Wrexham's "efforts" did was make it worse.

Also walking home from the ground there was standing water and rivers across the pathways everywhere. Just one of those days where we had a month's worth of rain in 6-8 hours.

I didn't see the first Wrexham injury, but both Tozer and Agyepong's injuries were water related, and Kinsella was lucky to escape serious injury when he was sent flying off the pitch just before it was stopped

Hold up… Wtf went off at Dagenham???
A tired team that needs a rest, most have played all the games and as I have been saying we have a very small squad with no depth. Changing the team would weak us severely, play offs is the most we can hope for anyone of ours fans that thinks otherwise is deluded.

At the fans forum on Thursday the manger said we had a solid defence and went for quality of quantity this season, wrong on both counts for me. You can have half decent back ups with our budget and also much better defenders. The owners were present today and if there ambitions are to win the league they need deeper pockets. Fans are far more realistic than the board and the manager with our current set up.

And would you have been able to afford that without the recent cash injection? If the answer to that is no, then your fan base have no right to be hammering Aldershot

There's more talk about Wrexham on here than there is on Red Passion.
