Hang on. I thought the Halifax fans said there were ‘limbs’?

Can’t tell who it is, but our defender should have just tugged their player back on 0.07 and taken the yellow
It always looks different from a distance. In that terrace behind the goal I've not seen scenes like it when we've scored in 27 years of going

The video doesnt show more than a second of the crowd anyway before it cuts off.

It doesn’t make me feel better. Worse if anything, because I do like a bit of ‘limbs’, even if it’s against my own team, once I’m over the result. We were promised Deeney v Leicester-style scenes, but that was pathetic.
Keeper's gotta take the blame for that first goal, absolutely dreadful.

Yeah, he’s a young lad who came in on loan with a big rep from Sunderland after Slocombe got injured and generally he’s been ok, but he shouldn’t be getting beaten at his near post from range, I have no idea why Dion Kelly-Evans is showing him inside onto his favoured foot either.

And as the Halifax fan said, the player who tracks then just wanders around and leaves Warburton to receive the ball back and spank in the winner wants shooting. Hopefully Michael Doyle had him up against the wall in the dressing room after the game.

Where even are the 'limbs'? All I'm seeing is empty stands.

The space allowed on that last goal could even be literally criminal, it's that bad. They should expect a knock from the OB this morning.

You can't create a 'limbs' moment without a full stand. Here's the best 'limbs' moment I've experienced:

How Wild gets this team back Down to earth for Saturday is beyond me.
Partying from now until Saturday apparently is the rumour. Booze, drugs, sex, the lot.

Not good ahead of that blockbuster clash versus Weymouth at the weekend.

It's the 99th minute, that Notts player in the centre circle should be yanking him back by the collar, taking a yellow and shaking hands on a miserable point.

Aye said exactly that above. I mean a point still would have been gutting, but you take the hit, move on, and try and win at Yeovil on Saturday. 4 points on the road and it’s not such a bad week.

instead.. ugh

So glad we don't play in the league for over 2 weeks. So much to work on.

Has the potential to be a banana skin if we are still too hyped at the weekend. Last night becomes irrelevant if we lose on Saturday.

The euphoria in Halifax after this even eclipses their greatest moment in history in beating our team of hungover still half pissed players in the FA Trophy final.
Greatest moment in our history.

Dubious pen against us and two not given for handball and a drag back with Woking keeper getting man of the match, probably for his time wasting. What an utterly appalling side Woking are but they’ll probably make play offs, the new Sutton of the league faking injury, time wasting and diving.

Most of our lot have now played in all the games and it shows, very legging and awful decision making starting to cost us.

Saturday at Boreham is now a must win to stop this slide in results.

George Carline added to the list of long term injuries - fractured knee cap and probs out for rest of season.

In doctors room with Hayden Hollis, Jack Clarke, Tom Denton and Akwasi Asante.

Karma for the vaccines probably.
And Furloughs ended

Aldershot (and Boreham Wood, apparently )
Can you not see BWood lurking 2 points behind? As soon as we slip up (on Saturday against giant-killers Woking), they’ll roll on past and storm the league. It’s the ultimate tragedy.
Yep, glad someone spotted it; big boys at the top end ignoring the intruder going about their business as usual. My old mantra - Beware of Boreham Wood.
Meanwhile, at the other end of the table, Shots somehow wrestled 3 points from Dover, hardly deserved. Just about keeping our heads above water, but we need some other teams to be even shittier to survive.

Bradbury has admitted he shouldn’t have retaliated but he seems absolutely baffled he got a red for it. Looked like a push into Rodrigues chest from where I was. Will be interested to see it back.

It did look a very soft decision even from the opposite end of the ground. Think we may have got away with one there.

What happened after the full time whistle? Looked like our assistant (who’s usually a very calm person) and one of your staff had a coming together. Millington was absolutely raging. Seen one or two comments on twitter saying he may have got head butted which would explain him losing his cool.

Was right in front of me - one of your coaching staff (presumably the assistant?) shouted something at Burchnall as he was walking off to the other end of the pitch that he clearly wasn’t happy with, then people piled in from everywhere.

Thought we played really well last night and should have come home with the three points. You just knew the penalty miss would come back to bite us in the arse, especially as their 25k-a-week striker is always likely to nab a goal. Concerned about the rate we are conceding late goals but can't fault the performance overall.

And fair play to the Wrexham turn out, not sure where the extra few thousand fans have come from but 9k for a midweek non-league game is impressive, fair play.

Chesterfield will be gutted at that tonight, should have been all over at half time really. Why Rowe isn't taking the penalty is beyond me, man is a dead-eye with set pieces.

Mullin is so good, our best player in every game he plays and he scores all types of goals.

Phil Parkinson clings on for another few weeks. In all seriousness, despite being fixtured out all season so far, he has been far from convincing in a lot of aspects. We shouldn't be THAT far off it, like we were tonight.
Yep woke up this morning and still annoyed we didn't win. Like you say I thought we should have been out of sight at HT given a bit more of a clinical touch. Kabongo is 3 from 3 from pens this season, so no complaints as to why he took the pen. Agree Rowe is a better ball striker though so expect him to take the next.
Would have taken a point beforehand though - we move onto Saturday now away at Southend. We are a bit like the walking wounded now with arguably 5 first teams out with fairly long term injuries.

Looking at Barnet for a second, just realised that we have only played 3 teams below 10th so far this season - 7 of our games have been against the current top 10.

No matter how shit we are/were, that is a horrendous run of games to begin your season. 3 unbeaten now, need to hit the ground running.

It’s probably because they’re all beating you and picking up points as a result

He may look like an American Midwest farmer of indeterminate age (he is actually in his mid 30s, which blows my mind), but Pete Wild has done a great job at Halifax. Expected them to struggle this year after losing 3/4 key players, but he has them up there again. In the unlikely event Burchnall gets the push, he’d be near the top of my list as replacement.

As for us, we desperately need some physicality, especially in midfield, an Oyeleke style player. I’d take a punt on the lad at Weymouth, and Woking’s no8 looked decent too. Could do with Rawlinson back as well - just someone to fuck head away anything that comes into the box. Hopefully either he or Cameron might make Yeovil at the weekend, the CB from Wednesday doesn’t look ready for first team football yet, despite Wendys claiming he was on the verge of their starting XI

You should be annoyed, we were horrible last night and the goal was the most smash and grab you can imagine. The first time Tozers throw has come close to threatening and you manage to leave Mullin unmarked on the fist ball, almost suckered you with it again a few mins later when Hayden hit the bar, it would have been unreal.

In my opinion, both teams game plans went completely out of the window with the early goal and neither knew what to do. You started time wasting straight away and we panicked and started booting it into the wind.

It will sound bitter, but I didn't think much of Chesterfield, Tshimanga was a threat with his pace but they didn't put there foot on our throats like they should have, especially as we pretty much handed them the midfield (again!!). To be fair, looks like there fans called it, they left us with a sniff and we managed to snatch something from it.

I don't know what this switching off at the end of games thing is all about, it's a definite issue now, but if you've dominated the game but only 1 goal up you're asking for it

Jesus has this turned into ‘Your Say at The Shay’ or whatever Halifax’s forum is called. As I said on Saturday, we’re a bunch of gutless easytoplayagainst fannies. You beat a bunch of gutless fannies. Many congratulations.

I’ve just managed to watch the goals. DKE and the keeper take some blame for the first, but Rodrigues pissing about on the edge of the box sets it up in the first place. The second is a good finish, but is that Sam ‘tracking back’ for the third? The fact that he remains anywhere near the first team is an absolute piss take of our shit recruitment.
