Good clash today, we got a few more in & you brought a good following, decent atmosphere. Felt like the old days in the League.

Yeah I'll second that, fantastic crowd for this level of football. I'm not sure what our exact following was but our coach pulled in last, another three were already parked up. That's what makes Saturday's so special great atmosphere and a nail biting game to go with it. I know what would we give to have those glorious day's back.

Absolutely spot on I didn't feel comfortable with us being 2-0 up! Never have been with Darlo and never will!
Your gk Taylor is a giant and spent most of the game just casually gathering crosses aimed at our 5' 4" Centre Forward. Good luck for the rest of the season.

A ridiculous decision by York,Watsons done a job with all the background problem.
We are 2 points from being in play offs with 5 players injured who all start,
Askey the snake is the new manager and all players back in next month,Watson very unlucky and built a good team that would of challenged if not for all injuries from start of season.

Long way to go, thin squad as always, but if the best 12/13 stay fit, we have a chance.
Erm... when we won the Southern League Central Division and later the Southern League Premier we looked from day one like we were a really good side for the standard. I thought we had a great chance as soon as I watched the first couple of games those seasons. Not feeling it here. We don't look any better than the previous 3 years where we've finished 3rd or 4th. Just think we are confident now and also the results are going for us. Hope I'm wrong. Perhaps a quick exit from the Trophy wouldn't be a bad thing?

We played really well yesterday and although we edged it and I think we should have won I can honestly say they were the best side I’ve seen at our place in a long time. Really impressed with them. Definitely in the mix

At long long last finally a win since beating York all those months ago! A clean sheet to boot as well. Mansell has been unlucky/had poor player game management with throwing away what should be 3 points twice in injury time but a much improved defensive performance. Gerring signed from Bath the day prior and has slotted in well. We had 3 out again yesterday due to silly suspensions (Dawson, Robert and Nugent) so should be travelling to Darlo with hopefully just 1 player missing (Jack James due to injury). We've gone all season with at least 3 first 11 players unavailable.

Yes most definitely in with a shout, especially with a defence that's only conceded 8 goals that's pretty solid defending. Indeed early days yet like.

Yes I like Taylor he's improved immensely over the season. I wasn't all that convinced when I first clapped eyes on him. Best of luck for the rest of the season as well

Signed another defender Kieron Wallace from Burton.Got 3 in on loan, shame we didn’t get them earlier might of been closer to Flyde.
Anyway might need extra players playing that fucking horrible rugby club managed by Paul Cox.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
We have changed our approach now since change of manager which worries me, just not 100% sure it is down to player changes (with covid spell 2 weeks ago) teams we played (Fylde and York) or managerial approach.

afew weeks back we’d just had a right go at Fylde and York gave them a big scare, maybe win or lose but go for it.

last 2 league games it was other side dominating large spells, us playing the counter.

doesn’t mean we are not a tough side currently that attack quality is there and Fylde and York will confirm the fact we have them very limited actual chances from large spells of possession.

nut am hoping it is down to some of our quality attack players being out and not a general change……as my expectations for going up are slim I’d much rather we had entertaining games than dig in hoping for points.

although considering our current manager was a coach under Flanagan I’d expect his all passing counter attack style, just think this is a rare season where we have that attack quality to do more than dig in each week.

not sure Brackpey will like is today though tough but to crack with some dangerous players if you leave gaps.

but our away results have shown just going for it reaps better dividends as it surprises sides seeing us get afew attacks

Alfreton 1-4 Kidderminster

Harriers by far the best team I have seen this season. They were brillant in the first half. Nulified our threat and did a job on us basically.
Yes were werent good enough defensively but dont take anything away from Kiddy. Throught they were great.

Once again outclassed by a FT side. Big game on tuesday at Southport but Another season of stagant medrocity. Hope we put a lot of effort in on the FA Trophy this year.

I was expecting a far tougher game tbh, especially with your upturn in form. Best way I could put it was that it seemed like the most un Billy Heath side that Billy Heath actually has. Thought both centres halves were aerially poor first half especially, just didn’t look like they wanted it. Ceesay and Hobson I’d seen as ones to look out for and forgot they were there for most of it.
It seemed almost like you’d gone back to your poor run at the start of the season, disorganised and brittle almost. Or had it been coming would you say?

Absolute appalling performance looked like players couldn’t give a toss.
To lose to a horrible club who only have a long throw and brilliant cheating habits makes it even worse.
That has to be worst performance in all our time in this league.

No sign it had been coming really. But I think the nature of the late, late defeat at Gateshead last week and having the guilt edged chance to win it certainly didnt help.
Fact is your manager knows exactly how to nulify a Billy Heath side. Hence we never really show what we can do against you under penn

Thankfully (for us) that’s something we’ve finally found, how to play against more direct sides or those who carry the more physical presence up top. I’ve forgotten the amount of times in seasons past where we’ve been bullied by the likes of Parkin and Rhead. Still taking some getting used to at times to be honest!
Was nice to visit the Impact again, first time I’ve been down there for about 8 years. Good luck for the rest

18 goals in our last 6 in all competitions. We're absolutely flying at the moment and having the ability of Sterling, Hemmings and Austin who can strike the ball from anywhere is such a huge advantage. Teams can stop us getting into the box but it doesn't matter when like today a Sterling can score from 30 yards.

Gloucester on Tuesday and I'm feeling a lot more confident about us picking up another 3 points

Ended up with a point away at Boston after going a goal down then leading 2-1 going into injury time. The bad news for us is an apparently bad injury to Connor Hall.

Apparently AFC Telford have made an approach to Warrington for their manager Paul Carden who had a previous spell in charge at Southport

When Carden managed us he had a decent set of players but didn't have a clue how to get them playing. He's done ok at Warrington since.

I think he's still based in Maghull, so if he did take the job I'd be surprised if he stuck it out for long.

No such joy I'm afraid. It's Liam Watson v Billy Heath though, so you should know what to expect. It'll be a rare home Tuesday night game for me, so if you're really lucky you might get a write-up on here!

What's happened with Bradley and Butterfield? Haven't seen them in your team for a while
