Not quite true. We turned you over in an FA Trophy replay there in 2018. We haven't beaten this current version of your football club there in a league match though, 4 draws and 2 defeats for us in 6 league games.

I'm not sure what to expect tomorrow. We've been down to the bare bones the last few games and have edged out poor teams recently until Tuesday night's defeat. Having said that if your defense forget their zimmer frames again we should cause you problems.
We have left out a few of the Zimmer frame players and replaced them with young blood from the leagues below, we also had two young lads up front and although they didn’t score they showed plenty of commitment against Brackley which was badly lacking at your place.

We have replaced half our team of senior underperforming players for youth or young lads from the leagues below because that’s all we can afford, but on the evidence shown on Tuesday we looked far better for it.
Are you happy with Steve McNulty.

So Sean Newton has finished up at Buxton.

Askey managed to move

Newton - Buxton
Gilchrist - Buxton
Heaney. - Buxton
Beck - returned to Harrogate.
Cunningham - Matlock
Jones - Pickering
Hopper - BPA
Fielding - BPA
Whitfield - Bridlington

Steve Watson recruitment this season has to be the worst on record.

Brackley withdrawn from the county cup due to a lack of players. According to their websites Fylde have 24 first team players Kidderminster 25 and Gateshead 26 - and they are full time. We have 20, and 3 of those look too young to be effective. Going to be hard to compete - really need a decent second striker.

McNulty isn't playing, only a coaching role so far.
He could probably still cut it at that level in a back 3. Not in a 2 though i wouldn't imagine. Think he still does coaching at our academy/college so it could help with getting players for you.

We do have a few new lads from the leagues below that we’re probably signed on his recommendation.

Also signed Greaves from Doncaster Rovers, which makes 37 players used for season so far, absolute joke no wonder they are shit.
would only keep 3 of squad seriously bad recruitmen.

We've had all sorts of bad luck on and off the pitch in the last month so fantastic to give someone a right good thumping like that. Been playing well of late (last week aside) but it all clicked together today. First start for 19 year old Harrison Burke in the middle of midfield out of position and he smashed one in from range, delighted for him and looks to have a bright future.

We were shocking today. We shifted our formation to a weird 5-2-3 and looked so disjointed, and our midfield were chasing shadows (we know as well as anyone that Declan Weeks can dictate a game as well as anyone at this level). Up front our 3 rarely got close enough to each other to support each other. We thought approaching half-time that we couldn't be any worse in the second half, but we were!

Can't argue with the result, we deserved nothing less today.

We'll be playing southern league football at this rate, 2 goals in 9 games and yet another defeat. Fans clashing with players after the game, O'Sullivan gobbing off. He's another that can get to fuck. Clearly a squad with half arsed mercenaries. End this season already please

Let's be honest you don't want to be risking players whether you've got them or not in these dodgy county cup games it's simply not worth it.

Brackley Town have the most clean sheets in league matches so far this season (16) in the top 6 tiers of English football.

Not bad stats must have a cracking back line.

His recruitment for us has been very impressive. I think it suits our ~ looking down the back of the sofa budget complaired to your millionaire budget.

Enjoy watching Burke paly for the rest of this season because we'll not be able to keep a diamond like him.

Didnt go to Farsley yesterday apparently ridiculous conditions and awful pitch, but 2 points thrown away at the end of the day. I think it's now clear our Owners dont want promotion, we effectively had only 13 players yesterday as only 2 of the subs are anywhere near the level required for NLN but no bodies brought in on loan or otherwise. Always the same old story, the only comms from the club are the ones asking for money for sponsorship etc, waste of time!

Just 3 wins in the last 10 for Alfreton. Only Farsley have conceded more than our 22. Dont think we will go down but a slide down the table is incoming.

Same happened in 2019/20 but COVID saved Billy Heath. Not this time but it doesnt matter as his job is safe.

I don't see you guys going down, not scoring against us and Brackley isn't rare we've got the best defences in the division.

Farsley looked so much worse than you guys. If you can figure out how to get the ball in the net you'll be fine. Defensively you look very solid.

Decent results for us yesterday. Could Brackley stop getting those 1-0 wins though its very infuriating to see.

One of our best performances of the season vs Gloucester, but still only 1-0. Big improvement after the apparently poor showing vs Chester where the manager said we didn't really deserve a point.

Ironically I'd say it is less good than last year - indeed the team in general is without Byrne and Coleman. But this year we keep getting results. Two big games coming up next - but am pleased given competing against full timers with arguably much bigger budgets.

Yes massive game next wkd bobble. We win and we have a chance of the title imo. Should we lose Its playoffs at best I think. Still, at least it should be exciting.

Just need to get him on a contract for next season and A few of the other young lads just so we get a fee if someone comes in.
Sounds like after only 2 games Stanway is one you need to tie down, then at least you'll get a fee if he moves this summer - which he probably will. Someone from the club tweeted how impressed they were with him last night.
