No you didn't!

Not sure "deserving" has anything to do with football. Score is on record, and all that matters. Interestingly, all three defeats have been emphatic, whilst Brackley have picked up points in all the close games. "1-0 to the Arsenal" stuff. Kettering avenged, Gateshead due down in a few weeks, and the small matter of Fylde arriving on Saturday. Crunch game, I`ve even passed on Wales vs Scotland 6N to be at this one!

Seems to be some noise, not sure how true, that Gordon is leaving Hereford and going to Brackley....Because Ndlovu is coming to us...and Mensah is going to Hereford.

The Table has Brackley top, and Gloucester 20th, in a relegation battle. Apparently you guys are also ditching full time status. Whilst nothing would surprise me in football, Ndlovu to Gloucester would get close! He is good enough be playing NL, hopefully with us.

We're going back to hybrid so will still be some full time players, not too many stealing a living like we do right now. Like I said could be total rubbish but stranger things have happened!

Ironically I'd say it is less good than last year - indeed the team in general is without Byrne and Coleman. But this year we keep getting results. Two big games coming up next - but am pleased given competing against full timers with arguably much bigger budgets.

One thing's for sure I'd be pleased as punch with having such a small squad and performing week in and week out grinding out results in so much manner.

Josh Askew has left us and joined Alfreton.

Hasn't been included in the last few squads since Fitzpatrick arrived. Never quite lived up to the reputation to be honest and has his limitations. Good lad though with a great attitude, a workhorse who always gives 100%.

Wow Southport bounced back well from the battering we gave them three days earlier!

The way we played against you bore no resemblance to how we have played the rest of the season. I think it may have been a reality check for some of our players, they now know they can't drop the effort levels like they did against you.

Really pleased with this signing. A large number of your fans seem sad to see him leave. Looked decent last night

I do think we were in your face and didn’t let you play, perhaps your players underestimated us due to how poor we were at your place.

At the time you were the worst side we'd seen at Haig Ave this season (Farsley now have that honour), and we're probably the worst side you've seen at your place this season too. Just goes to show how mad this league actually is.

I would have to say our dismal performance won't be far behind Farsley's honour. If it wasn't for Taylor's penalty save we'd have got hammered 4-0.

What is his reputation based off? He’s never performed anywhere he’s been.

A bang average NLN player at best.

Maybe we built it up ourselves, social media hype, Bern & Jonno telling us about him etc etc.

He was with Salford when we were a league higher so we never saw much of him before he signed for us.

We now have better.
Just goes to show though, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Alty fans were telling us Fitzpatrick was absolutely pants and wouldn't do it at any level nowadays.

Back to the league now with no distractions. Telford away for us and Penn is going to have a tough job getting the players focused after last week's heartbreak. But we should have more than enough to beat Telford.

As of 5pm yesterday we've sold 400 tickets so the FA Cup bounce is still there so we need to capitalise to keep the attendances up both home and away. 2 local derbies this week are the perfect way to keep them up as well as we've got Hereford at home Tuesday.

Brackley v Fylde is a huge game but hopefully a boring 0-0

My. God

87 mins losing to Farsley and bottom of the league. Up pops Matt Green to poke home an equaliser and then in the 92nd minute Hulbert some how gives us 3 points. We haven't scored 2 goals in a game since the 4th of December! What a win though but it'll mean little if we lose to Darlo next week. Need to get some consistency.

Boston Utd 1-1 Southport

Football in a wind tunnel today. We had the wind first half, had a free kick bounce off the underside of the bar and may or may not have crossed the line, scored off a long throw and were generally all over them.

Second half everything was reversed, Boston resorted to Cox-ball and eventually one of their high balls into the box found one of their players, and Cam Mason couldn't deal with the header.

Not a classic but a fair and well earned point for us.

Annoying defeat today, decent enough first half but then lost Stephenson and Apter to injuries and got all unbalanced with players out of position.

Not boring, and not 0-0. Tight, tense battle, with Brackley edging it. You guys and Gateshead still to come to SJP, huge games ahead.

Tricky game with the wind today. Scrappy goal to win but we got the win. Biggest away following we've taken in years. Small gap now to Fylde Brackley and Gateshead winning makes a win Tuesday vital

You guys and your 1-0's! We've got a huge March where we play Gateshead, Brackley, Chorley, Fylde, Spenny and Curzon I think. If we're still up there with you two at the end of that I think we'll have a great chance.

Good achievement today - held our own against a full time team with a big budget, and with a very strong wind against us in the first half, that all but died away in the second. You could see Fylde's extra step in quality in the runs they made and their understanding of where to find space. But Brackley matched them all the way and came up with the decisive strike. 16 games to go - it's not the big games that worry me... it's the post-work Tuesday nights at Guiseley etc where I think the size and full time nature of the squad can really matter.

Consistency what the hell is that, we are decent at home but we have taken only 5 points out of a possible 39 away from home.

Normal service resumes with I think your 8th 1-0 victory in the league: If I've checked them correctly.
