Bit of a random selection of Darlo players there?

You'd have to be disappointed in yourself, it you hadn't already realised you were a least one of these descriptors wouldn't you? At least by moving you up from one to the other, I gave you a sense of what it feels like to be promoted - something our respective football clubs are unlikely to ever give either of us the experience of.
You watch, we'll win the league and you'll win the play offs after you said that.

Any chance Cameron Salkeld might be available? Would love to sign him

Hopefully get you on a Saturday away game this season. We could easily take a 1000. I do miss Feethams though. That was a quality stadium

Darlington sign Joe Leesley on a 1 year deal.

If he's half the player we had on loan a couple of seasons ago, then this is great news.

He's still an insane player... If you can keep him fit. He's been absolutely ruined by injuries with us. Basically missed all of last season and most of the season before. But when he played he was ridiculous

Not that I'm trying to show you up but his stats are as follows...

22/23 Boston 10 matches, Darlington (on loan) 7 matches, Kidderminster 18 matches. Total matches played 22/23 = 35.

23/24 Kidderminster 14 matches played. That's last season and I can see he obviously missed much of it due to injury. Let's face it, we're only getting a player of his quality by taking a chance.

However, you seem to have inserted an extra injured season into his recent history which doesn't exist. :)

We had him last season for the last month but he did not make an appearance. Must have been injured as we lacked creativity at the end of the season

How do you fancy your chances this season l? Do you think you can challenge for the title?

Honestly dunno how he played 18 matches for us in his first season could've sworn it was 10 at most. He seemed to sign get injured and then came back for our 6 game winning streak to get in the playoffs.

I hope we can. We need to fix our midfield and losing Shane Byrne is a killer. We really should be in and around the playoffs at a minimum

Back to Brackley?

Are you staying full time?

Rumoured he might be going to Boston.
And yes we are. No chance Phil Brown would've stayed if we hadn't stayed full time.

Darlington mutually terminate the contract of Akwasi Asante.

Thank fuck for that, he was a huge waste of money. For the best that he moved on and good luck to him.

He is the last of Josh Clowning's 14 signings from his whirlwind reign of devastation - not one of those signings improved our squad in any shape or form. Steve Watson came in at new year, signed 5 players, all who improved the squad. The difference between a fuckwit and a proper manager.

Get your shit together please this season Darlo, been fannying about down here for too long now.
Furthest north Blyth
Furthest south Oxford
Imagine still being in L2 and having to go to all of those dreary southern places
Two thirds of L2 is North of Walsall, NL is loads more Southern.

Sounds like we’re set to sign Carlton Ubaezuonu from Chorley if rumours are to be believed. Played with our manager at Farsley a few years ago.

Any good Chorley fans?

He works hard and was our leading scorer in the end but he didnt always start, he is a grafter, dont expect him to beat 2 or 3 players, never really sure where his best position was, havecto say not unduly upset that he has left the club.

Carlton Ubaezuonu confirmed now

Perhaps more importantly is Will Evans signing a new deal, surprised at that as he could easily go back to the NL

We have got Will and Carlton. It's looking like we can give it a FRESH go this season. Anyone got a Jeff or a Phil we can buy?

I wouldn't get too excited about Carlton, he scored some good goals for us but was never a truly confirmed starter, often coming on from the bench, well into the season before he really found a position, hope he does well for you as he is certainly a grafter.

Heard we are getting someone called Mike Calveley from Chorley as our Butterfield replacement. Is he any good?

Is he a striker or a winger?

If he's a striker he will be backup to Whitehall unless we go two up front. He'd start more as a winger due to Roberts and Law both being very injury prone

Bottega Don does not go away from home so take what he says with a large pinch of salt. Richard Taylor
